• Teaching Days– 15 min: journal (SAT/ACT question, article, puzzle, prompt,…)– 59 min: lesson (notes, practice, activity, project,…)– 10 min: wrap-up (summary, reflection, feedback,…)
• Assessment Days– Quizzes and tests are pre-announced– Quizzes: half a class period, then continue curriculum– Tests: entire class period– Journal and wrap-up included in class period

EvaluationSummative Items (50%)
– Consists of unit tests, cumulative exams, and comprehensive projects.– Thorough with all work and explanations in order to receive full credit.– Summative assessments are announced in advance.
