It is a laser alignment device that

utilizes a three-dimensionally alignedlaser and horizontal vial for referencealignment.

Rotary Base

The Rotary Base allows layout

orientation of loudspeakers via angularalignment to each component and roomorientation.

By using the Rotary Base one can also

orient layouts from a level plane ofreference, quickly and effectivelygiving a precise means of completesystem setup.

It also rotates 360° about the Lens

Adapter Base and works in conjunctionwith the Protractor for angularreferencing.

Operation of the 2-way Splitter Lens

requires a lens base adapter.

The 2-way Beam Splitter Lens projects

a 90-degree dot and straight beam dotsimultaneously from the P-770 unit.

The Line Lens generates a visible laser

line at approximately 100° wide fromthe P-770 unit.

The Rotary Base Plate is designed as a

rack platform that allows for quick useof the Rotary Base on any edge (suchas a loudspeaker enclosure).

It can also be mounted on a tripod.

The Variable Line Generator ( LG 120) produces a super bright laser line with a

dispersion angle that is adjustable from15° to 100°.

This allows for visualization of anyloudspeaker’s acoustical dispersion pattern.Utilizing the variable aperature feature,

the dispersion pattern of any tweeter or

midrange driver can instantly be “seen”as it emanates from the loudspeaker.

The interaction between the generatedsound waves and existing room

geometry can, for the first time, bevisually observed in any room or hall.

How does one use the LG 120 tomodel a loudspeaker’s dispersionpattern?The Variable Line Generator (LG 120)

can be used on any loudspeaker system

by either holding the unit flat against theface of the loudspeaker or by using theoptional SA-S steel base plate thatallows for “hands-free” operation.

By combining the use of the 770 Laser Alignment Tool (P-770) and a 2-way

Beam Splitter Attachment on a R2-D2 Rotary Base one can both easily andsuccessfully orient any projector to itscorresponding screen.
