The PRM Partner View is a web-based PRM tool that streamlines communications and effort between Partners and Avaya. This tool has been designed to increase partner productivity around:

How is the data in the PRM Partner View organized?
After logging into the PRM Partner View, Partners immediately see the Home page. This screen provides links to all other pages, as well as a view of all current tasks.

Search: Partners can look for specific leads, opportunities, tasks, contacts or accounts (available in the drop down).
Recent Items: Partners can quickly locate and view (up to)
the last 10 items worked.

The approval request view provides partners with a summary of all submitted items with the ability to drill down into leads, business plan, etc for more detailed information.
The status of submitted items (i.e. leads) are available through the approval request view.

Views are predefined queries within a particular section of the application that help you filter results
NOTE: Visibility to the Accounts tab is limited to the PRM Admins. The only accounts you will be permitted to see are those pertaining to your own company. If your company has multiple locations on record
with Avaya, you may be permitted to see all those locations in the Accounts tab. Users may also select “My Company Profile” in theleft hand navigation to get to their company headquarters account.

Many fields of your Company Profile (Account) are editable by Partner users who have Partner administration
profiles, other fields are editable by your Channel Account Manager [CAM].
Some fields and related lists cannot be edited by either the Partner or the CAM. These include Certification levels,
product authorizations (Channel Operations) and Hierarchies (PRM Admin).
If you wish to appear in the Partner Locator it is required that you must certify your data and indicate you agree to be
published in the Partner Finder. Your company may indicate your preferences in the boxes shown below which appear
on the Account Details section of your Company Profile.

The Primary Contact fields must be populated for your company. This individual may be contacted by Avaya and other
business partners regarding sales opportunities and may receive communications regarding Avaya’s channel program. .
The Primary Contact is a lookup from Contacts. If you want to change the Primary Contact to someone new, you will need
to create a new contact first (See p. 22).
The other critical information that will be essential as part of the Avaya Channel program include naming a:
•Sales Lead – who will be the primary individual from your company who will receive the Avaya generated leads and
assign them to someone in your organization.
•Business Development Manager – who will be the primary individual from your company who engages with your
Channel Account Manager to review and approve the annual business plan.
•MDF Approver – Your company may be entitled to participate in Avaya’s Marketing Development Funds program in which
Avaya may approve the use of funds for specific marketing related activities. If the CAM initiates an MDF request for your
company to take advantage of, the MDF approver will be the recipient from your company who will be responsible for
reviewing and approving the Fund Request and ROI commitment. Your company cannot participate in MDF unless an
approver has been named.
•The PRM administrator+ is the person who has edit capabilities to the partner profile and create additional partner users
and request additional visibility across your site locations. These three fields can be populated with the same contact.

Ensure that the promotional messaging section is completed. The promotional message
appears in the Partner Finder search results.
The customer-facing promotional message appears on the Avaya.com website.

A new contact can be created for your company by navigating to the Contacts portion of your Company Profile. It is possible that a contact will serve more than one role depending on the account, opportunity, etc.

These sections capture important information related to a new contact.
The Contact Roles are multi choice so one person can
have multiple roles and this information is used for targeted
emails, for example pricing contacts would be the person to
receive updates from Avaya on pricing information.

• A contact needs to exist on your company’s profile before you enable Partner access to the
PRM Partner View
• A Contact is not automatically granted access to the PRM Partner View as a User; to grant
access, your PRM Partner Admin+ must enable them as a user.
• For further information on “Enabling Partner Users” login to the PRM Partner View, click on
the Content tab and search for PRM Administration Plus

Market Funds section of PRM, each individual document is private. In order for an individual to view Business Plans or Market Fund Requests, the user
must be named as the approver for your company, or the owner of the document must have granted access to that specific document in PRM.

Process of adding a new contact is complete upon clicking save.
Partners cannot delete contacts, you can however identify contacts that you would like deleted by
selecting from the status box Marked for Deletion. These are then picked up on a monthly basis in
Avaya by running a report and then are deleted from the system.
F None is the default setting.
F Active is used for all current Partners.
F Inactive would be used for Partners on long term vacation or maternity leave but who are still
working for the company.
F Marked for deletion would be used for duplicate entries or individuals who are no longer
working for the company.
Criteria for Success:
F Before creating a new contact, do a search first to avoid duplicates.
F Ensure you keep all contact information current.
