COMPLETION AND THE FINAL FRONTIER IN OUR PALPATION

DIAGNOSTIC ARTS?

Disruptive Intel: Ah Shi! & Spongioform Knots

Now you See them, Now you Don't !

Admittedly, Chinese Acupuncture is a paraphysical system, often called a proto-science. Equally, when it comes to the scientific 'neutrino', in particle physics labs, at the moment they appear, they then instantly disappear, like a UFO. In the standard model of particle physics, there are three types (or 'flavours') of neutrinos — called electrons, muons, and tau neutrinos — all with zero mass, you can't weigh them. Bilenky and Pontecorvo pointed out that if neutrinos did have mass, quantum mechanics would allow the electron neutrinos emitted in the core of the Sun to change into one of the other types of neutrino, and thereby evade detection by the Davis experiment (which was sensitive only to electron neutrinos). They called this phenomenon neutrino oscillations. Neutrinos — fundamental particles similar to electrons, but much lighter and with no electric

charge — interact only weakly with normal matter and can penetrate a star with negligible attenuation.

Acupuncture points can be viewed in a similar manner. Just because they appear on an anatomical chart or in a textbook, does not mean they always exist. In other words, acupuncture points appear into the physical world, only when they become 'active'. And that activity translates into the reaction in Korean called 'ah shi', they become tender to palpation. Thus, they are 'inflammatory.'

The topographical, acupuncture points are surface projections of internal irritations, short and simple. Internal irritations from the organs are transmitted to the spine by the sensory and sympathetic nerves and distributed to the sensory nerves, motor nerves (trigger points), and dermatomes of the skin. Persistent irritation coalesces toxins and acids around the nerve endings and become painful when palpated. They manifest thusly as:

1. Tophia deposit of crystalline uric acid and other acid substance at the surface of joints, imbedded into the fasica (the body's garbage bin), or in skin or cartilage, typically as a gross feature of gout, 'crunchy' deposits in the fascia of the feet, or as small granules in the fasica like sand. A tophus proper (Latin: "stone", plural tophi) is a deposit of uric acid crystals, in the form of monosodium urate crystals, in people with long standing hyperuricemia (high levels of uric acid in the blood). Tophi are pathognomonic for the disease gout. Most people with tophi have had previous attacks of acute, gouty arthritis.  Without treatment, tophi may develop on average of about ten years after the onset of gout, although their first appearance can range from three to forty-two years, can remain dormant, and the patient never having an acute attack.

Calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate (CPPD) crystal deposition disease, also known as pseudogout and pyrophosphate arthropathy is a rheumatologic disorder with varied symptoms and signs arising from the accumulation of crystals of calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate in the connective tissues and fasica. The alternative names emphasize particular aspects of the clinical or radiographic

Page 4: privyinfo.orgprivyinfo.org/POINTS_2016.docx  · Web viewWithout treatment, ... will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal ... with dysfunction

findings. The knee joint is the most commonly affected but can also be found in the feet (foot reflexology), scalp (needle therapy), ear (auricular acupuncture), hand (sojuk Korean acupuncture) and nose (rhinopuncture).

Calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate crystals are associated with a range of clinical syndromes, which have been given various names, based upon which clinical symptoms or radiographic findings are most prominent. pseudogout refers to the acute symptoms of joint inflammation or synovitis: red, tender, and swollen joints that may resemble gouty arthritis (a similar condition in which monosodium urate crystals are deposited within the joints). Chondrocalcinosis, on the other hand, refers to the radiographic evidence of calcification in hyaline and/or fibrocartilage. "Osteoarthritis (OA) with CPPD" reflects a situation where osteoarthritis features are the most apparent. Pyrophosphate arthropathy is a term that can refer to several of these situations. The disorder is more common in older adults. It may be asymptomatic, or it can be associated with osteoarthritis, or it can present as an acute or chronic inflammatory arthritis that causes pain in one or more joint.

Other biologic acids play some role, as in lactic, pyruvic, phosphoric, sulfuric acids, etc. and are conjoined and crystalized by bonding principally to calcium ions, magnesium, etc. They are attracted to fascia where the body cordons off the offending properties, neutralizing them. Little research has been done in these areas. We know other toxins are involved as thermotherapy and even balneotherapy generally brings out offensive body odors of numerous toxins, and as well as toxic metals, etc.

Acupressure Has to Hurt to Work

Something we learn early on in acupuncture, we palpate the point to locate the "ouch" point, to confirm location and action, and then needle or massage accordingly. Thus, palpation that generates "exquisite" tenderness at specific points indicates the point is "active" and that internal irritation is present. The worse it hurts, the better it works relieving pain by counter-irritation!

Palpation Diagnosis

There are three primary reflexes that are almost never now used, and this is a pity:

1. The Patellar Reflex: The patellar reflex, as simple as it appears, should not be ignored in the routine medical/physical exam as it acts like a screening for a number of possible and developing conditions like diabetes, nutritional deficiencies as in metabolic syndrome X, heavy metal toxicity; as well as a test that inspires patient confidence in the overall doctor/office efficiency.

2. The Achilles Reflex:Diminished or absent reflex is a cardinal sign of hypothyroidism, also in autoimmune diseases, diabetic neuropathy, sciatica in the late stages, chronic alcoholism, Vitamins B & E deficiency.

3. The Triceps Reflex:An absence of reflex can be an indicator of several medical conditions: Myopathy, neuropathy, spondylosis, sensory nerve disease, neuritis, potential lower motor neuron lesion, or poliomyelitis. Other medical problems that may cause irregular reflexes include Hyperthyroidism.

However, this acu-point is also called the “Serene tranquility point”. God's supply house. All elements stem from and are contained here. Most neglected point in whole body - a magnificent point! It keeps stability of mind, gives peace and serenity to sick patients.Absence of reflex here is an unhappy patient!

I HAVE CATALOGUED MORE THAN 300 PALPATION DIAGNOSTIC POINTS, AND THE ISOLATIONS ARE

An 'ouch' point summons a reflex, and is truly a reflex of an internal irritation. Not only are they therapeutic, they are also diagnostic.

Examples:

How often can we attribute food allergies and intolerances to the patient's problems, addictions, compromizations, and even etiolgies?Ans. 100%? How do we diagnose such?Ans. not easily, but more often expensively and time consuming?Knock Knock: you haven't been paying attention!Dr. Weihe brought us the homeopathic palpation points. Turns out, we have so many of these provings, we now have the 'ouch' points that are generated by the constant eating of tomatoes, potatoes, leavened bread, strawberries, cashews, coffee, dairy, soya, etc. YES! A simple roll and rub, and by asking the simple question: do you eat this every day? When the palpation point exhibits exquisite tenderness, we can generally assume the source of irritation (until proven otherwise, one of my favorite sayings, next to 'unremarkable'). There are several 'hot spots' for dairy, 'dairy queen' my

favorite!  A little squeeze, cut out the cheese...

How about this one - MALARIA?Yes, this can be an elusive diagnosis out in the field. Generally, you medicate when signs and symptoms agree (until proven otherwise). The little buggers only come out in the blood during the tidal fever, in which case you bleed, smear, mount, and gander through the microscope. However, we have some handy points contributed by our Chinese breatheren, acupuncture points, specific for nothing else.

YES! With a reflex hammer, acu-pen tsubo torch, stethescope and spgyg, a clear cup for urine, drop me in the jungle and I can make due as a monastic doctor! You can too! It's all in the touch!

Upon thirty years of careful examination, study, and clinical applications, I can attest that many obscure acupuncture points, trigger points, neurolymphatic reflexes, 'ouch' points, etc. (they have many names), have never been viewed as a primary core of palpation diagnosis. Especially in this 21st century, where many doctors of medicine do not even touch patients anymore!

Doctor, have you ever heard?

Obesity can be assisted by palpation and lymphatic drainage using contact points?Throughout history, people in different societies have used various methods of stimulation as therapeutic tools to influence function of the lymphatic system. Now, palpation technique emerged as another system of health care to develop specific techniques related to weight loss via

treatment of thoracic duct. These contact points you can check yourself with your thumbs on both hips at same time. Hold those contacts that are painful and you will feel it through your intestines, sometimes so badly for gladly you will want to vomit. Throughout history, people in different societies have used various methods of stimulation as therapeutic tools to influence function of the lymphatic system. Now, palpation technique emerged as another system of health care to develop specific techniques related to weight loss via treatment of thoracic duct. The thoracic duct is the common trunk of all the lymphatic vessels of the body. Through stimulation at the area of solar plexus it is possible to not only influence velocity of the food tube but also the lymphatic fluid to vena cava and ultimately to the heart. Increased fluid flow to the heart causes myocardium to contract better and in turn improve circulation. With the improvement of circulation body cells not only get more effectively oxygenated but also detoxified from metabolic waste and excess fat.

The realistic goal.Acupuncture, acupressure, and Jade Lymphatic Drainage technic with thyroid supplementation and elimination of food intolerances/allergies yields initial weight loss of about 10% during the first month of treatment. The second month weight loss effect continues mildly and by the third month additional weight reduction and overall improvement in health and in weight takes place without drastic measures, pleasing to the patient. Once increased metabolic rate gets well established , it is very unlikely for it to regress within the next few years if thyroid status and elimination of undesireable and intolerant foods continue, especially those nasty gluten and dairy products. This weight loss program doesn’t require any special diet or exercise because the usual cravings get naturally inhibited and elevated energy levels will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal activities.

Ascariasis is a disease caused by the parasitic roundworm Ascaris lumbricoides.  Infections have no symptoms in more than 85% of cases,  and 1.2 billion people globally carry these worms in their belly!Ascariasis is classified as a neglected tropical disease. You

can diagnose it with a simple touch...

there are more than 10 confirmation points for WORMS!Worms do make you squirm...

The Chinese doctors called this point Heavenly Stream, but the limited (linear) Western mind failed to understand this almost never used acupuncture point as I call it: *Palpation Test Point for Masterly contact to the entire Reproductive System of man and woman, including the Breasts and Thyroid Gland. If we survey the disorders associated with dysfunction of the these glands, estrogen dominance and hypothyroidism, and since the reproductive organs affect the emotional system of the mind, one can visualize many, many conditions that can be helped with this knowledge.

SCM or Notorious Sartorius

Trigger point therapists laud the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle as having more 'trigger' points than any other muscle in the body? I beg to differ. There are three sites that host the most exquisitely tender if not excruciatingly painful fascial sites known to man:

1. the Sartorius muscle, 2. The tensor fascia lata, and3. the periosteum of the shin bone (shinbone sceamer site).

WHEN THE DIAGNOSIS IS ALSO THE

TREATMENT!by Prof. Charles McWilliamsPanAmerican School of Monastic (Natural) MedicineNevis Island

In today's busy world, office efficiency means everything. A simple procedure that not only confers a diagnosis but also translates into resolution becomes a top order priority in patient evaluation, not to mention it  provides instant relief for the sufferer and makes the doctor appear as a knight in shining armor.

I can think of any medley of these golden nuggets, but here are a few:

1. Backache: lumbago, sciatica, or spinal stenosis? The main symptom of lumbago is pain in the lower back or lumbar region of the spine. This is usually associated with aching, muscle tension and stiffness in the lower back which may be severe enough to interrupt normal everyday activities and movement. Sometimes, this pain may be described as a back strain.

A common presentation is the chronic back. Lumbago is another term for lower back pain, a condition experienced by up to 80% of people in the industrialised Western world at some point in their lives. Just as with any problem leading to back pain, the cause of lumbago is not always

Page 19: privyinfo.orgprivyinfo.org/POINTS_2016.docx  · Web viewWithout treatment, ... will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal ... with dysfunction

obvious or easy to identify, even after medical investigations or tests.

Most often, lumbago arises as a result of a mechanical problem in the joints and muscles of our lower back. This basically means some form of disruption to the way joints in the area work, leading to inflammation and pain. This non-specific term also means that science still does not know precisely why these problems occur. Here is the bad news: Pain does not always reflect the extent of damage. The severity of pain from low back problems is often unrelated to the extent of physical damage present. For example, a simple pulled muscle in the low back can cause excruciating pain that can limit one’s ability to walk or even stand, whereas a even a large herniated disc can be completely painless.

So what I do is a quick easy way to see how much muscle spasm involvement is present and if the pain can be managed with a few Jade massage treatments.

Page 20: privyinfo.orgprivyinfo.org/POINTS_2016.docx  · Web viewWithout treatment, ... will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal ... with dysfunction

Technique: Good ole' auricular therapy. Yes, the ear acupuncture points are surprisingly effective in problems relating to hypertonia, vascular tension, and muscle spasm. In this case, I simply probe around in the ear to locate an acutely tender point, I mean one that really hurts when you apply a bit of pressure to the auricle. The point that hurts is the point that works! You can easily do this with the tip of a ball point pen, but use my Jade acu-probe which is the same I use for for the EAV-Voll diagnostics. Scratch around in the ear until you find a point that really smarts, the tear jerkers are the one's that bring decided relief. Find it, give it 4 seconds of ischemic compression, jerk a tear, and wellah, the pain is instantly relieved! This tells you that the lumbago has extensive muscle involvement and is remedial to massage, hot packs, liniments, calcium/magnesium supplements, all measures that relieve muscle cramp and strain! PS. this is also great for tension headache and migraine!

2. Swollen Tonsils: There is no need for tonsillectomy upon presentation of adenoids and swollen tonsils. This works 80% of the time. Take a long wooden Qtip, dip it in Lugol's solution and paint the tonsils directly. The iodine stain will kill the bacteria on contact. Then give them Lugol's orally, 4 times daily for 7 days, 5 drop doses in water. You can also add this to any gargle solution like borax water. Follow with high dose vitamin C, some peppermint/horehound tea, no problem!

Page 21: privyinfo.orgprivyinfo.org/POINTS_2016.docx  · Web viewWithout treatment, ... will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal ... with dysfunction

 3. Pressure Points: These provide a remarkable list ot tender spots located just under various body surfaces, and “let's the genie out of the bottle”, so to speak. Meaning, palpation of these points unlocks the autonomic nervous system to let the body self-heal. Just like the ear points, it often only takes one treatment, that is a few ischemic compressions (dig it), to bring dramatic relief and a cascade of autonomic healing.

Remember years ago, those "stub points," the self-help "acupressure" charts, the shiatsu "do-in," etc. Well, forget all that. The points that work are generally not on any standard acupuncture charts! In the old days, we called them 'family points.' Points handed down by Asian teachers to their family and later students back in the 70's. I remember those days, and took extensive notes, and often the best teachers were chiropractors, not acupuncturists!

These specific points I have catalogued, each covers a all small surface area, the same as an acupuncture point, can be found by the pulp of a finger, a rubber eraser on an old pencil, a suitable stylus, and must be made obviously painful by palpation to be so indicated. In acupuncture parlance, the tender point so discovered would called an Ah shi point (translated to 'Oh yes'). These tender points are always found in painful diseases and the acupuncturist will be guided to this point by and through clinical examination, experience, and with confirmation by palpation. In most cases the Ah shi point may be felt as a pea-sized, fibrotic nodule under the skin, called by Dr. Chapman a spongioform knot, indicating some form of nerve entanglement, and thus tender to palpation. Their location is random and unspecified, until the grouping of occurences is verified on numerous cases, and thus documented as prescriptive and thus added to the acupuncture Materia Medica as a “strange” or “new” point. However, it is the author's opinion that these knots, outside of localized trauma, do not develop randomly, as there is always some associated, intermal illness.

Here's a list of these remarkable points, and

Page 22: privyinfo.orgprivyinfo.org/POINTS_2016.docx  · Web viewWithout treatment, ... will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal ... with dysfunction

fortunately, you have a Geek like me who wrote all these down, scratched down in notes and charts, and now catalogued in my latest edition: POINTS 2016, to be released next month…

Super Star, Contact Healing Point (IA2, 3M): Located on the anterior medial line of the head. This contact treats the stomach, trachea and pons of the brain which has to do with the absorption of oxygen from the blood into the brain. Check first on this release point for tenderness if patient complains of dizziness.    Check first on this contact if patient complains of dizziness.

Page 23: privyinfo.orgprivyinfo.org/POINTS_2016.docx  · Web viewWithout treatment, ... will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal ... with dysfunction

Hangover, Contact Healing Point (IA4, 2M): This release point has to do with controlling the cranial fluid. Anyone complaining of a pressure headache (feels as if his head will explode) then this point will, in nearly every case, help relieve the pressure and the symptoms. Also good for hangover and relieve a fit of epilepsy. Test Point for Cerebral Anemia, Brain Congestion.

“Flight or Fright”, Contact Healing Point (IA7, 1B): Cranial Lymphatic Fluid, pressive headaches (as if brain is exploding), brings relief in nearly every case. This contact goes to the pylorus, or bottom valve, of the stomach and also the central nerve plexus of the heart. Releases that pounding stomachache with palpitations after eating allergic foods, It is also used for abdominal cramps and reflux Also that nasal drip and congestion after eating dairy products. . Some people feel the effects of this treatment all down through the body, from head to feet, as a tingling sensation. Test Point for Reflux Esophagitis from Allergic Food Intolerances.

Eye Whites, Contact Healing Point (10M): This is a dual contact, located on the anterior margin of the supraorbital bone as it joins on each side with the root of the nose. It is wonderful to drain all the brain sinuses, affects the consciousness and intestines. *First Aid: Excellent in food (ptomaine) poisoning and scombroid poisoning. Spoiled fish poisoning can have serious signs or symptoms including nausea, vomiting, trouble breathing, seizure, confusion, or colic. If you become sleepy while driving, treat for a few minutes and see how bright everything becomes.  Test Point for Food & Fish Poisoning.

Contact Healing Point (IB18): Is the contact for eyestrain with headache and is very effective with just simple acupressure. Locate  the bridge of the nose. Then, using tip of thumbs, slide straight up under the eyebrows and press upward. Any painful area found in this location can be treated with your thumb contact. Notice the resulting refreshed feeling in your eyes. Eyestrain is one of the most common causes of headaches. Test Point: Headache due to Eyestrain.

Page 24: privyinfo.orgprivyinfo.org/POINTS_2016.docx  · Web viewWithout treatment, ... will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal ... with dysfunction

Cheek Bone, Contact Healing Point (11B): Check diagram carefully palpate on these dual contacts, located on inferior aspect of the cheekbones. The finger or probe must dig on the underside of the malar bone as in a hooking action to locate the exact tender spot. When painful they indicate infection somewhere in head, teeth, or body and treatment here will help remove the symptoms. Medical Indications: Trigeminal neuralgia, facial paralysis and spasm; facial neuralgia; eye tics. Maxillary sinusitis. Infected teeth, toothache. Test Point for Citrus Allergy

Contact Healing Point (16B): Has to do with the posterior pituitary and is a specific treating point for head colds. Medical Indications: Surgical anesthesia point for tooth extraction. Toothache, trigeminal neuralgia, depression lines as facial wrinkles, Bell’s palsy.

Big Welcome, Contact Healing Point (JB-8): Located under each side of lower jawbone is a notch in the bone. Feel underneath and toward the back of the underside of this bone until you feel the notch. This is one of the best places I know of to rid of toothache using ordinary acupressure, as well as that ‘stuffiness’ of hearing when getting off an airplane.  Medical Indications: Facial spasm, toothache in the lower jaw, parotitis, facial paralysis, Lockjaw, swollen cheeks, neck pains, stiff tongue, toothache.

Dog Jaw, Contact Healing Point (51): These two contacts are against the chewing or masseter muscles on the lower jawbone as shown on Diagram 5 1. These are wonderful points for all the facial muscles, a great adjunct to Jade treatment of facial wrinkles, premature wrinkle prevention, wry mouth (irregular face), also in eye problems, dim vision, mumps, and even mumps in reproductive organs (orchitis). Medical Indications: Anesthesia point for tooth extraction of the posterior teeth of the lower jaw and the anterior teeth of the upper jaw; mumps; weak vision; acne; facial wrinkles; wry mouth.

Dog Jaw II,  Contact Healing Point (JB-10): Stands for a

Page 25: privyinfo.orgprivyinfo.org/POINTS_2016.docx  · Web viewWithout treatment, ... will provide enough stimulus to start or resume some sort of natural and normal ... with dysfunction

jawbone contact. Put your index finger on posterior aspect of jawbone just under each ear and pull forward. In all cases of glaucoma, intoxication and in people who wear or are about to get bifocal glasses, pain will be felt on these contacts. The word glaucoma means "hard eyeball." Thus, the eye feels hard to palpation as compared to normal.  Test Point for Glaucoma.

Behind the Crown, Contact Healing Point (IE1, 9M): Is located on the posterior fontanelle and has to do with balancing the spiritual life energy between the pituitary and the pineal glands. From these glands the energy travels down the spinal cord. Very important point. Test Point for Chlorinated Water.  Psychopathy. Road Rage.

'Gate of Muteness', Contact Healing Point (IH8, 35): Consider this contact in palsy and many mental problems, neurosis.

... This list goes on and on..lI suppose the question could be asked?
