PRIVATE RETREAT INFORMATION

What is a private retreat? A private retreat is a time to enjoy the quiet, to pray and listen to God. A private retreat can be made during the week

or a weekend usually for a period of 2-3 days. You are invited to join the Norbertine community for Daily Eucharist,

Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer.

How to make your reservation? The following information will be needed:

1. Please let us know how you found out about Daylesford Abbey? The reason you are coming to the Abbey for retreat.

2. You will need to complete a medical and personal information form. (This will be emailed to you.) This form will be

shredded after you depart.

3. Please tell us what you expect to do while you are here.

4. Please advise your approximate arrival and departure time.

5. Please provide a cell phone number and your email address.

Confirming your private retreat A written confirmation will be sent to you via email.

Spiritual Direction/Sacrament of Reconciliation You may request spiritual direction or the Sacrament of Reconciliation during your stay. If you want spiritual

direction, please call 610-647-2530 ext. #102 and make arrangements BEFORE you arrive. For the Sacrament of

Reconciliation, please contact our receptionist at 610-647-2530 ext. 100 to make an appointment.

Stipends for our spiritual directors range from $20-$60 per session.

When you arrive... You will stay at the Spirituality Center connected to the Main Church and Dining Room. You will be assigned a room

and upon your arrival, a folder with your room assignment will be waiting for you at the front desk and someone will be there to

greet you if you provide us with the approximate time of your arrival.

Offering:

Per Night Pricing: $70 per night (Meals costs can be added: lunch/ $10 per person dinner/ $15 per person )

Weekend Retreat (Friday to Sunday) : $175 per person (includes meals)

Five Day Retreat: $350 per person

Eight Day Retreat: $475 per person
