PRIVATE DINING MINIMUMS

• Events are booked for a minimum of 2-hour windows. Additional fees may apply for events that exceed 4 hours.

• Food and beverage minimums for a full venue buyout are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

• Food and beverage minimums apply to all private events and vary depending on the night of the week, time of the year and size of the party.

• Any group that does not reach the specified food and beverage minimums will have the difference added to the bill at the conclusion of the event.

• Food and beverage minimums do not include applicable tax, service charges, AV rental fees, valet (outside vendor), or other incidental charges.

MENU SELECTION + SERVICE

• Vista Peru is proud to offer a variety of private event menus custom designed by the critically renowned, chef Rene Arroyo.

• Menus are seasonal and subject to change.

• All seated lunch + dinner menus are served family style unless otherwise noted.

• All menu selections must be made 7 days prior to the event.

• All alcohol service is available and can be offered in the following ways: Full hosted bar, beer and selected wine, specialty cocktails and cash bar.

• Please note, we will do our very best to accommodate requests for additional food the day of the event, but additional fees will be assessed.

• All food and beverage shall be supplied and prepared by Vista Peru. No client nor his/her guests may bring or remove food or beverage from the event without prior approval Vista Peru.

• Cakes prepared by third-party vendors are permitted. The cake-cutting fee is $1.25 per person for all pastries brought in from an outside, licensed, commercial bakery.

BOOKING, DEPOSITS, GUARANTEES + CANCELLATIONS

• Events are booked on a first come, first serve basis and are only considered reserved once a fully executed contract has been received by Vista Peru along with a credit card number/deposit to guarantee the event.

• We’re able to place a 72-hour tentative hold on the calendar for your event. During that time, you have the first-right of refusal of the event time and space.

• A signed contract and deposit are required to confirm your event on a definite basis.

• A non-refundable 50% on your food and beverage minimum is required to confirm your services on a definite basis. While the deposit is non-refundable it may be used towards another event.

• At the conclusion of your event, all deposits will be deducted from your bill. The remaining balance is due at the conclusion of your event.

• Final guarantee numbers must be confirmed and guaranteed five business days to your event. Once received, the number will be considered a guarantee and is not subject to reduction.

GENERAL EVENT POLICY OVERVIEW

OCCUPANCY + EVENT SPACE

The 2nd floor at Vista Peru is available for private events on a contract basis and is available for brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktail parties or late night happy hours. Without adjustments, the 2nd floor accommodates 80 people for a cocktail party and 55 people for a seated dinner. Vista Peru is able to accommodate full venue buyouts for groups of up to 140.

●• You will be charged for the guaranteed number of guests, the actual number of guests or the specified food and beverage minimum, whichever is greater.

• Final pay is due five business days before the event.

EVENT SETUP + DÉCOR

• Our team will work closely with you to coordinate the best setup for your event.

●• You are allotted one hour of setup time within your event pricing and 30 minutes post event for you to pick up and drop off décor. Please note other events and normal service may be taking place up until the time your event begins and after the conclusion of your event.

• A furniture moving fee of $250.00 will apply to any event in which furniture removal has been requested.

• A fee of $500 will apply for every hour that your event continues beyond the contracted end time.

• No streamers are allowed, unless agreed upon by the event director and removed immediately at the conclusion of the event.

• Glitter, confetti, flower petals, bubbles, etc. are strictly prohibited.

• All candles must be enclosed – tea lights, votive, floating candles are allowed.

• Vista Peru is not responsible for any vendor equipment or personal property left on the premises.

• The event director must approve all other décor plans. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a minimum $250 cleanup/damage fee.

SERVICE CHARGES, SALES TAX + FINAL PAYMENT

• All food, beverage, service and audio-visual charges are subject to City of Philadelphia Tax and Pennsylvania State Tax (the current rate is 8% for food and 10% for alcohol).

• A 23% service fee will be added to all checks, of which 18% will go to event staff as a gratuity.

• One bill will be presented to the host, or to their designee, and must be paid in full at the conclusion of the event if there are additional charges above what is listed on the BEO.

PARKING

• Vista Peru is conveniently located near several parking lots. The closest lots are: Park America – 27 South 3rd Street Parkway 2nd & Chestnut Lot – 38 South 3rd Street

• There is also street parking available.

• You may choose to add valet parking services to your event through our exclusive partner, Royal Valet. Please contact us for specific details & rates.
