Winter Term, 2021 (January 4 - March 12)

Winter 2021 Dates. Classes begin Mon-day January 4 and meet weekly through Fri-day, March 12.

Late Enrollment. Many classes may be joined in progress (sometimes 1 or 2 “catch-up” private les-sons will be required) with prorated tuition.

Tuition, Class Siz-es, & Cancellation Policies. Class tuition is based on minimum enrollment and class-es that do not meet that enrollment will need to be cancelled. In such cases, we will refund or credit each enrolled student’s tuition, prorated by the number of cancelled class sessions. In most cases The Shedd Insti-tute can arrange pri-vate or semi-private small group alternatives for the cancelled class, or suggest an alterna-tive Shedd Institute music class.

Missed Days & Withdrawals. There are no discounts, refunds, or credits for class ses-sions not attended. Students may withdraw from a class and receive a prorated refund through the 4th session, subject to a cancel-lation fee. This refund will be for any class

sessions more than two weeks past the with-drawal date.

Class Age & Skill Levels. The Shedd Institute welcomes students of all ages and

accommodates differ-ent physical and learn-ing abilities. Age levels for classes are meant only as guidelines. Skill level is a more inf lex-ible prerequisite, since the courses have been designed for optimal instructional content.

Workshops. Guest Artist workshops are held throughout the year with our visit-ing concert artists as schedules permit. Shedd students receive special discounts and invitations to these workshops.

Se habla español. Call 541.434.7000 or come in to The Shedd; ask for the Registrar.
