Dear EMC Member, Here’s the latest news from EMC Promotions and I hope you love the new format of our newsletter. Firstly, we would like to thank members for their continued support in attending events and secondly, we want to take this opportunity to welcome our new members to the EMC family. Big thanks to those who attended the Private Affair One Year Anniversary on Friday 28 th May. A great night was had by all and as usual, well supported and we partied until 4am. Unfortunately, the Pavilion has received a few complaints from the residents regarding the noise when guests are leaving the car-park at the end of the night. I know you are in high spirits having had a great time but please can I ask Private Affair members to consider and respect the residents. They have a lot of influence in the continuation of the monthly dances and we don’t want to lose this great night, especially as we are trying to obtain a later license which could be declined due to the noise violation. Just remember to respect the residents!! The EMC Family would like to say a big thank you and welcome to the JB Crew who we believe are going to be around for a while! Equally thanks to all members who made the extra effort to dress-up for the occasion of “Cruising through the Night” black tie and evening gown event on the Teresa Joanne boat on Saturday 12 th June. This was an evening of sophisticated entertainment for those looking for something special and thank you to ACR Photography for capturing highlights of the evening. Dress Code EMC would like to reiterate that there is a high standard dress-code for all guests at the Private Affair dances which must be adhered to – NO JEANS, NO CAPS, NO TRAINERS & NO BANDANNAS. As usual there will be that small element who feel they do not have to adhere to the dress-code. Sorry folks no exemptions! Any guest dressed in the wrong attire will be refused entrance by the security guard and their ticket will NOT BE REFUNDED. It is with great regret that EMC had to Part Company with Palmers Catering but we will let you know who will be stepping in to provide your cuisine delight. Dear EMC1st Year Anniversary“It was a fantastic turnout... in my estimation full house! People where having fun, theyloved the selection of music and they all partied hard. The only downside was the cateringwhich marred the comedian’s performances.”

Dear EMCBoat Dance“How often are we able to dress up, meet sociable people, beautiful surroundings andhave good music all in one night?.... very rare, but the boat dance that Private Affair puttogether was a "night to remember". Bow ties, cravettes, full evening gowns was on showfor all to see. Everybody made the effort and looked wonderful.”

Dear EMC“Those who attended the boat dance for the first Private Affair function said "I will becoming to the next one" and true to form they did and enjoyed it thoroughly, again lovedthe venue.”

Dear EMC“Thanks to the boat owners Michael & Company who provided the food which was verygood indeed and for being so flexible with the end time.”. Marcia Lewis Chique Events Management

Dear EMC“Hope Friday went well, was mad I couldn't make it!Just to say the boat dance was wonderful although I didn't have any food. By the time wewere ready to eat they had closed. The music was good. I feel some of the girls couldhave put out more effort to dress for the occasion. Good crowd anyhow, the peopledanced was a good vibe. I think the next time turn around should be guys asking girls todance, although I thought girls were more liberal in this day and age but they seem, Edquite shy that night I wonder why? lolHope your good.Take care”Bev

Dear EMC,“Congratulation You Have Done It Again……Thanks yet again for a wonderful evening of entertainment at the Private Affair BoatParty,I along with my friends had a wonderful time, it was great you have a gift of makingall your guest feel like (special friends) and we have never been disappointed withPrivate Affairs performance. The music was fantastic everyone was dancing and having agreat time until dawn. So we can’t wait for the next cruising through the night venue orshould I say the Red Carpet Affair.”Loraine Guy.

Dear EMC“Well done EMC and thanks it was a brilliant night out.”

What a night!

The Private Affair one year anniversary was well attended and enjoyed by all.Guests were in party mood and arrived early to take full advantage of the happyhour which was between 11.30-12.30am. Additionally the guest received an extrahour and raved on until 4am.

Mello Bostic was joined for the first time by the JB Crew – “what a combination”.

The Private Affair Black Tie & Evening Gown dance was held on the luxuriousTereza Joanne Boat and proved a massive success for all those in attendance.

The best dressed women competition was well received and our happy winnerreceived a DVD and a gift voucher for a free studio session with ACR Photography.Although there was a mystery man one hour turnaround, unfortunately, they werenot found – come on, where were the independent women when he needed them?

Music on the night was provided by Mello Bostic and The JB Crew who ended thenight with a 1-4-1 clash which lasted until 7am - with no winner! However, ourguests were’nt complaining – they were too busy having a good time!

Many memories of the evening were capture by ACR Photography – see snapshotof photos from the night on page 2.
