pHotoGrapHiC preview prints

Photographic Preview Prints are printed on Kodak

Endura Pro Luster paper and are perfect when

printed “proofs” are needed. Order your various

images in the same print size to take advantage

of volume pricing. There is a $10 minimum order

requirement. Loose-bound proofs are offered in

four sizes and various borders are available as well.

Spiral Bound Preview Prints make a wonder-

ful flipbook for clients. Your 4x6 prints will be

bordered by your choice of black or white ½”

borders. Continue customizing your book with

black or white spiral binding placed along the

long edge or short edge. We will then complete

the presentation with a light frosted cover and a

black end sheet.

• Files should be no greater than 10 MB and

saved as a level 10 in Photoshop. Files sizes

larger than 10 MB will result in slower file

transfer time and will not improve print

quality. Expect the same quality as our other

photographic prints but with volume dis-

counting on several same-size prints versus a

smaller order of mixed-size prints

• $10 minimum order

• Optional decorative or solid borders on indi-

vidual proofs

• Add spiral-binding to your prints to create a

preview flipbook (4x6 print size only)

Our Preview Booklet makes a professional “image cata-

log” with a minimum amount of effort on your part. We

bond two sides back-to-back and wire-bind them with

a page stiffener between them. They are then finished

with a solid black cardstock cover with a linen-type

texture.

The 10x10 Preview Booklet is offered with 4, 9, or 12

images per side. Image sizes are large enough to view

and order from, but small enough to discourage those

who would be tempted to copy them. The maximum

number of sides per book is 80. For orders requiring

more than 80 sides, you will need to split the book into

multiple volumes.

• Layout choices of 4, 9, large 9-up images or 12 im-

ages per side

• Drag-and-drop your images into the page layouts

in any order you choose

• File names automatically print below each image

Tip: Drop in your own design with a single image that you have created and it will fill the page.

Tip: We have included some basic softcover templates in our software for your conve-nience.

With so many options for customization available,

our Press Printed Preview books are economical

and enduring. Choose from a hardcover or soft

cover book and several binding styles. Customize

a hard cover book further with your choice of fab-

ric, faux leather or your own wrap-around photo

cover created in Photoshop or your preferred

design program. Pages are matte coated and you

decide the number of images shown per page.

We print and mount your image and you choose a

frame to complement it. With 14 styles in a range of

prices, our frame line makes it easy to satisfy your cli-

ent’s taste and budget.

Frames are available for 6 print sizes: 8x10, 10x20,

11x14, 16x16, 16x20 and 20x24. Framed prints carry

the same pro paper choices and finishing services as

our unframed prints and are finished with a black pa-

per backing and hanging hardware already installed.

You may also choose to add a mat and glass to your

framed print. When ordering a mat, we use a larger

frame, glass and mat to accommodate your selected

print size.

Turnaround time for all frame orders is approximately

4 days in lab plus shipping.

Increase the drama and durability of your prints

with our Finishing Services. You may add a textured

surface or lacquer coating to our luster or metallic

photographic papers.

We offer three texture options: Canvas, Linen and

Small Pebble. Canvas Texture creates the appear-

ance of an artist’s canvas, Linen Texture adds the

old-world appearance of Irish Linen Rag, and Small

Pebble produces a professional touch and discour-

ages successful scanning of your photo.

Increase your photo’s durability and prevent it from

adhering to glass by adding our Lacquer Coating.

Lacquer is sprayed on the print surface and is avail-

able on luster paper only.

Our Mounting Services give your images

professional polish. Choose from Artboard,

Foamboard or Standout Mounts.

Artboard Dry Mount (.25” thick)—a rigid

backing for mounting inside a frame.

This fiber-based board could warp if left

unframed on sizes above 11x14. Artboard

is available in all sizes 5x7 and larger.

Foamboard (.25” thick)—an inexpensive

warp-resistant mounting option and is

available in the most common sizes.

Standout Mounts (.75” and 1.5”)—prints

are mounted to a very lightweight, du-

rable board with a maple, stainless, white

or black border. Pre-drilled holes on the

backside make your print ready to hang

immediately. Standout Mounts are avail-

able in a variety of sizes from 5x7 to 30x40.

Slight imperfections can take away from your

studio session time, so we provide a range of

Retouching Services from red eye and glass glare

removal to fixing strap lines and shadows.

• Retouched images are provided to you on

High Resolution Disk at no additional fee

• Standard Retouching is charged per head

and includes evening of the skin tone but

does not include scars or moles. If more than

one subject is in the image please indicate

who needs to be retouched. If no indication

is made you will be charged for each subject.

• Remove Braces is an option that is not always

possible. There must be sufficient amount of

tooth available for cloning. If the area is too

dark it will leave an unnatural look so we may

opt to not attempt this request. In this case

you will be notified and given the option of

whether or not to continue with the prints

from that image.

• With the Fill in an Area option you need to indi-

cate the area to be filled in and what you would

like it to be filled with. Multiple charges may

apply if it is a larger or difficult area.

• Remove Small Object & Remove Large Object-

these options would be treated much the same

as fill in an area; please indicate which object you

want removal and filled in with what.

• The Clone Eye option is valuable when you have

a subject with one or both eyes closed. You will

need to indicate which subject needs an eye

cloned and our art department will take an eye

from another image. It is helpful if you indicate

an image with the subject’s eyes open. (Bear in

mind you will need to order from the image that

you want us to take the eyes from in order to

have the software include this order for transmis-

sion).

• Combine Two Images- a common use of this

option is when you need to have a person from

one image added to another. As with the Clone

Eye option, you will need to order a print of both

images so that they are sent to the lab.

• Spot Colorization is a very popular option. This

art option allows for a color image to be desatu-

rated and an area then brought back to full color.

You will need to indicate which area you want

colored in the instructions. The end result of this

option is a black and white image (or sepia upon

request) with one area that retains its original

color. You will need to be sure to order this image

in color. If you order black and white it will print

the color portion in black and white also.

• Other offered services include: Remove Tan Lines,

Red Eye, Glass Glare, Eyeglass Shadow and Stray

Hair as well as Retouching on Arms, Legs, etc.

Float Mounts are a fantastic way to bring under-

stated drama to your display. Your image appears

to “float” away from the wall by wrapping your

print around a padded, warp-resistant board and

placing a ¾” Gatorboard mount on the back with

pre-drilled holes for hanging.

Choose from a Luster photographic print with

a matte protective laminate, a Metallic photo-

graphic print with gloss laminate, or a Canvas

print finished with a protective satin coating.

Float Mounts arrive ready to hang.

For images that have a fine art style, we offer a

Giclée (zhee-‘clay) printing service. We use high

quality acid-free paper that has a velvety feel

similar to watercolor paper. Using industry-lead-

ing archival-grade Epson printers, we can print

your image up to 24” x 36”.

If you plan to float your image within a mat-

ted frame or shadow box, you can choose the

“deckle edge” option that gives the edges of your

print the torn paper look. When not electing the

deckle edge option, you may choose to have your

Giclée print mounted to Artboard, Foamboard or

a Standout Mount. These mounting options vary

dependent upon the print size.

Please handle your Giclée Fine Art Print carefully

to minimize scratching.
