Printing of TDS Certificates

Use T Code J1INCERT. The following screen will appear.

Use the variant Certi Printing Q3 by clicking on the Variant Icon on the application toolbar.

The following screen appears.

Select CERTI PRINT Q3 variant and click on tick mark .

Enter /check the following fields:

1. Company code2. Fiscal year3. Business place4. Section code- like 194C/194J/194I/194H5. Posting dates- For Q3 : 01.10.2010 to 31.12.2010

For Q4 : 01.01.2011 to 31.03.2011

6. Bank Challan Dates- For Q3 : 01.10.2010 to 31.01.2011For Q4 : 01.02.2011 to 15.05.2011

7. Certificate Date- For Q3 : 31.01.2011For Q4 : any date after 15.05.2011 till 31.05.2011

8. Signatory, Fathers name, designation and place of printing9. Type of output script10.Test run tick when you are checking it for the first time

The following screen will appear.

Now click on execute .

The following screen will appear. Change the output device to LOCL. Please note here the caption of the

screen as Print: Display Form 16A Certificate

As we are in the Test run, we should not click on print here. If we do that, since the system has notgenerated TDS certificate numbers in the test run mode, all the certificates will be printed without

certificate numbers.

However, now we can check how the TDS certificate will appear when printed. For this, click on Print

Preview icon.

The following TDS certificate appears.

We can check for various fields in the certificate like name & address of the deductor, Pan of deductor,

TAN of deductor, PAN of deductee, period, Address of CIT (TDS), Receipt number of original quarterly

TDS statement,etc.

Now click on back button. Here you can see the new screen. Please note that this is a new screen for

printing of challan/certificate summary pages.

Again click on Print Preview icon.

The following two summary pages appear. Check these pages. Page one is for TDS summary (Challan

wise) and page two is for TDS summary (TDS certificate wise).

Once you are O.K. with this go back to the main screen of J1INCERT.

Remove the test run tick mark when you want to print the certificates. Please note that, once you

execute the program without the test run tick mark, the certificates should be printed immediately since

the programme has generated the certificate numbers.)

Execute. ( You can observe that since we have removed test run tick mark, the print preview option is

not available now)

Print the certificates.

Go back.

Print the summary pages.

This way you can print certificates for various TDS sections/section codes (if you have more than one

TAN)/ Quarter4.
