Choose your style

You specify it, we’ll supply it.

To help design your project with the finish of your choice, simply go through our four stage process – help your print stand out even further. The simple process is set out on the next four pages; choose your style of finish, type of cord, fastening style and finally your colour. Go for marino, taupe, fuscia or gris, the choice is yours.

Metal HookThe metal hook end is a metal piece placed in both ends of the cord or elastic cord. This is the best finishing for when the cord has to go through a hole to fasten. It is aesthetically pleasing and saves time and money compared to the knot method.

Film HookFilm hooks which fasten into the ends of cord or elastic. Used for folders and in the packaging sector.

Metal Treasury TagA metal ‘T’ shape placed in both ends of the cord or elastic cord, used to fasten sheets of paper together or to a folder.

Metal ClaspA metal clasp that is fastened onto the elastic cord and closes, creating a circle. Used on lengths of elastic from 130mm – 700mm.

Decorative Metal EndingFastened to cords or elastic cords at the desired length, they can be attached at just one end or both and come in a range of colours and shapes.

Hot CutThis ending is used with cords or elastic to cut them to any length and prevent them from unravelling.

Plastic HookA plastic piece that is applied in the two extremities of the cord or elastic. Used for cords of 5mm – 7mm in diameter and for textile loops of cartons.

Press CutThis ending is when the cord is cut to the required length and crimped to prevent unravelling. This method also facilitates the cord entering through a hole.

Plastic Treasury TagA plastic piece in a ‘T’ shape placed in both ends of the cord or elastic cord. Used to fasten sheets of paper together or to a folder.

Press Cut – BespokeThis is similar to the Cut Pressed ending, but the length of the fusion can be customised to different lengths – 7mm, 15mm and 20mm.
