P.R.I.N.T: Personal Letter Mrs. Carpenter Zeynub Bee bee Shaikh Date: 2/6/2015 Dear Usama, It’s been a while since I wrote you, so please don’t be alarmed by the long letter. Currently, school is progressing well, Thanks to the Lord. I will be valedictorian of my class, if the Lord Wills. It’s quite an honor, which requires me to give a speech in front of my entire school. I look forward to it. My grade point average (GPA) will be higher than 3.5, if the Lord Wills, and I’m quite happy about that. My aunt had a 4.0 GPA, which is what I had aspired to achieve as well, but alas, my efforts got me thus far. I can taste graduation with seven books left of Physics. Three books left of Algebra II. Chemistry and I have not been the best of chums, and yet still I have only 3 books left, all of which are online, thankfully. I can’t wait to be a graduate. High school is something some people remember fondly and enjoy, I don’t think I’m one of those people. I like my teachers, they’ve helped me a lot throughout my whole stay in Premier, and the students are pleasant enough. But the whole idea that high school is supposed to be the best experience of a person’s life is beyond me. For me, high school has been a lot of work, work and more work. I had fallen behind, and that’s probably why I had to do so much work this year and the last. It’s not bad because I’m glad I experienced what I did. books left of Algebra II.I met a lot of wonderful people who taught me so much. I relearned a language I had forgotten – not to mention I learned how to read it. I had a whole new perspective of how culture effects peoples’ lives. Since I’d been living sans culture, it baffled me and confused me in ways I had never imagined possible. Without those experiences, I don’t think I’d be the person I am. I firmly believe that I’m the person I am because of my experiences in life. From when I was little, we’ve been on the move constantly. Do you remember when I told you I was born in Pensacola, Florida, but don’t

I firmly believe that I’m the person I am because of my experiences in life. From when I was little, we’ve been on the move constantly. Do you remember when I told you I was born in Pensacola, Florida, but don’t remember a thing about it? Yeah well, that’s because we moved to Virginia when I was a baby. The earliest memory I have is of me and my older brother gathering apples from an apple tree next to our apartment complex with our father. Flash forward and we’re in Japan going to a private school with less than fifty students, on the tiny island of Okinawa. I remember going to gymnastics lessons and swimming lessons. I remember monsoon season and how we would stay indoors because the wind, rain, and thunder wouldn’t permit us to leave the house. When we came back to the states, I was almost eight, and we were living in San Diego. I didn’t understand how big a deal it was to live in San Diego until I moved to a really small city: Victorville. It was so small that we had to drive ninety minutes to reach Los Angeles. From there we moved to Merced, another small city, this time even smaller than Victorville. All of these experiences shaped me though. It reminds me that nothing except the Hereafter is lasting.

Sincerely, Zeynub
