Four weeks down and six to go until the end of Term Three.Out term is certainly flying by and many classrooms are nowreaching the end of their latest units of work. With this in mind, please be sure to continue to ask your children what they’relearning, how they’re travelling and what’s next? These are theconsistent questions we ask our students to ensure they’re ontrack.

We recently closed the online bookingsystem for parent/teacher interviews. Please ensure you have printed/recordedyour appointment times. If you haven’talready made a time please email yourchild’s teacher to lock in an appointment. These interviews are critical in ensuringthat the connection between learning andhome remains strong.

Last week our Year 1 students participated in their first FireEd lesson with local Fire Fighters. Students loved hearing thestories from the Fire Officers and were thoroughly engaged inthe safety information shared. Next week they will have theopportunity to explore the fire truck and to feel what it’s like tooperate the hose!

Over the last couple of weeks we have been discussing‘elephant vs mouse’ problems in the playground. We havebeen using time on parade and in the classroom to dissectsome common problems that arise and to help student useour Bounce Back strategies to solve their own problems wherepossible. Please take some time to discuss the differencebetween mouse and elephant problems and use this languageto pull apart any issues that arise.

Enjoy the next couple of weeks!
