SCHOOL NEWSLETTER ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Principal Postings . . . February 22, 2017
Today is the Feast of St. Peter. As a community gathered for Mass at the South Campus, Fr.
Carlos invited all those boys with the name of Peter to come forward for the Our Father. To his
surprise we had only one, Peter George! He then went to the next tier and invited all of the chil-
dren and adults who belong to St. Peter Catholic Church to come forward and join him for the
Our Father. This small gesture reminded me of the blessings of a regional Catholic school and in
more specific way the blessings of All Saints Catholic School. Unlike a parochial (parish) school,
our children and families come from our 14 supporting parishes as well as parishes and churches
in Racine, Illinois, Milwaukee and other surrounding communities. While most of our families
are Catholic, we have a growing non-Catholic group of families seeking a value based, rigorous
academic environment. Over the 6 years that I have been principal I have come to know the chil-
dren and in most cases can even identify what parish each belongs to as well. That is because
our school and our church communities are so intricately linked and dependent on one another.
In our ideal world all of our school families would be active participants in their church commu-
nities. This isn’t always the case. A family that prays, plays and learns together, stays together.
This is evidenced by our retention rate. Once a family joins the ASCS family they tend to stay,
as each becomes a part of a bigger family. I am grateful for my “school family of ASCS” as they
are now an extension of my own family. My own children have come to know some of you by the
stories I tell at home. The children here have come to know my family and the teachers’ families
by the stories we tell at school. Our home and school lives are connected. We recognize that par-
ents are the first and primary teachers in a child’s life and take the responsibility for teaching
each one of them with intention.
Thank you for the many ways each one of you supports ASCS. We are gearing up for our school’s
Annual Reach for the Stars Auction and Dinner Gala. It is always a great event. This year, with
the new venue, it will add in a level of celebration! In order to be successful, we depend on each
one of you. How can you help? You can do any one of the following:
1. Sponsorship (we have many levels of sponsorship)
2. Sell raffle tickets
3. Donate items for our silent auction
4. Donate tickets to sporting events, vacation homes, airline tickets, or other big items for our
live auction
5. Most importantly, attend the auction and join in the fun!
Blessings,
Dr. Jackie Lichter
Together we will teach children to see the world through the eyes of Christ and to
model the lives of the Saints in a rigorous academic environment.

Help us plan for next year-enroll today and secure your spot!
Our enrollment has exceeded 450 students for next year. Thank you to our families that have enrolled online and have sent in your tuition deposit. We have also enrolled more than 50 new students. Please do not wait to enroll your child/ren if you plan to have him/her attend ASCS next year. Doing so may cause you to forfeit the campus of your choice. Registering is easy and just takes a few minutes. (See the steps listed below)
Have you completed both steps of the enrollment process to reserve your child's spot for next year?
Complete your online enrollment: Click on this link to go directly to the online enrollment section of our website. http://allsaintskenosha.org/current-families/forms/registration/
Pay your $100 tuition deposit (current families): Submit your tuition deposit online or send cash or check to your campus office labeled "tuition deposit 2017-18 school year" with your child's name. This will be deducted from your total tuition amount, but must be received in order for your child/ren to be registered for next year.
Once both of the steps above are completed, you will receive a confirmation postcard which will be sent home with the youngest child confirming your family registration.
Please don't wait, our enrollment is growing daily!
If you have questions or something is preventing you from enrolling, please contact Sue Wendorf (262)925-4024 [email protected]
