Transcript of Principal Class Headline - Roberts McCubbin Primary...
6th December 2017
Yesterday I announced that our Assistant Principal, Amanda Wigg has been appointed as the new Principal of Robbie Mac and will take over from the beginning of the 2018 school year. I want to sincerely congratulate Amanda on her appointment and know that I am leaving the school in extremely good hands. Amanda’s two daughters attended the school so she has a long history of and passion for the school, both as a parent and an educator. I would also like to thank the members of the school community who were on the selection panel. It is a long and rigorous process with the panel members having to take time out from work and personal time to read the applications that were submitted, short-list the candidates, formulate questions, hold the interviews, check referees and finally make a decision on behalf of the school.

Helping Hands Christmas Tree
Dear Robbie Mac Families,
The concept of the Helping Hands Christmas Tree is to provide support to families in our school
community who might be finding it difficult at this time of the year.
Donations of non-perishable food items.
We have found that with many families, its not just a gift for the child required but food and treats for the
festive season as well.
We would appreciate your support with donations of non-perishable Christmas goodies for our Helping
Hands Christmas Tree hamper packs.
If you are able to contribute please drop your items into the Helping Hands Christmas "Hamper
Box" in the school foyer by FRIDAY 14th December.
Your contributions and support are greatly appreciated by all during this festive season.
Any queries please contact Narelle 0408 972 051 or email the PFA via [email protected]
The first day for 2018 is Wednesday, 31st January
From the President
What’s the news?
Hi all, don’t forget our pre-Christmas craft sale on Monday 11th. This will be on the Junior deck from 3:00pm
until 4:30pm. There will be gifts for mums and dads and other special grown-ups, and maybe some for kids
too.
We have had our final meeting for the year yesterday. Next year there will be one regular meeting before
the Annual General Meeting in March. The current committee members will not be continuing next year, so
please start thinking about whether you would like to take on a role in the committee so the PFA can
continue as an organisation. I know the school can function without a PFA, but parental input will always be
needed to keep the school well-funded and to help maintain a good community.
Congratulations to Amanda Wigg on her appointment as principal of our school.
Have a great week.
PFA president – Robin Fripp.
