Following the course, delegates will be able to organize, plan and control projects
quickly and effectively in accordance with the PRINCE2TM Methodology. Senior
management will be able to make decisions on project initiation and continuation onthe basis of hard facts provided in a structured format. The course is represented in
an interactive format with practical sessions, delivered by a trainer with
considerable experience of PRINCE2TM. Practical sessions will be on an individual
and team basis focusing on the Foundation Examination.
Who should attend?
The course is suitable for any organization or individual seeing the need for a
controlled approach to managing its projects, including; Project Managers, ProjectSupport, Team Members from any discipline. The PRINCE2TMmethod is flexible and
adaptable for any type and size of project. It offers an excellent management
foundation for any member of staff; no prior Project Management knowledge is
necessary.
Our Speaker
Dr. Ian Procter was a member of the team that developed the PRINCE
Project Management Methodology on behalf of the OGC.
Dr. Ian has been involved in training and consultancy in PRINCE since the
launch of version one in 1989. Ian is an accredited PRINCE trainer and
developed all the material used on the accredited PRINCE2 training
courses offered by UNICOM, UK.
Dr. Ian was also a member of the working party that established the
syllabus and regulations for the Information Systems Examination Board
(ISEB) Certificate in Project Management qualification.
