Envisioned by Honourable Prime Minister as a People'sMovement, the Fit India Dialogue is yet another endeavourto involve citizens of the country to draw out a plan to makeIndia a Fit Nation. The basic tenet on which the Fit IndiaMovement was envisaged, that of involving citizens toimbibe fun, easy and non-expensive ways in which toremain fit and therefore bring about a behavioural changewhich makes fitness an imperative part of every Indian'slife, is being strengthened by this dialogue. In the past one year, since its launch, various eventsorganised under the aegis of the Fit India Movement haveseen enthusiastic participation of people from all walks oflife and from across the country. The Fit India Freedom Run,Plog Run, Cyclothon, Fit India Week, Fit India SchoolCertificate and various other programmes have seen acombined organic participation of over 3.5 crore people,making it a true People's Movement. The Fit India Dialogue, which will see participation offitness enthusiasts from all over the country, furtherstrengthens the vision that it is the citizens who are to becredited for the success of the nationwide movement.

undertaking, investigation and settlement of industrialdisputes. The third bill, The Code on Social Security, 2020seeks to amend the laws relating to social security of theemployees in the country. Replying to a discussion on the bill, Labour andEmployment Minister, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar saidthat these historic bills will have far-reaching effects on theinterests of the workers by creating a time bound grievanceresolution mechanism. He said, several provisions havebeen included in the bills to provide a safe environment tothe workers and robust social security mechanism. He said,the Government is committed for the welfare of the workersand in the last six years several steps have been taken inthis direction. He clarified that the Government has nottaken away the rights of labourers. He added that severalprovisions have been made for the welfare of the migrantworkers. Intervening in the discussion, Informationand Broadcasting Minister, Shri Prakash Javadekarsaid that these historic bills will ensure justice for theworkers. He said, several provisions have been made in theBills including guaranteed minimum and timely wages,free health check-up facility and allowances for migrantworkers to visit their homes once in a year. The SAATHI initiative will help theindustry for resumption of business aswell as give an opportunity to ascertainthe degree of compliance with theoperational recommendations/compliances in the following threephases:(i) Execute the Self-Assessmentframework and self-assessmentcertificate for the applicants.(ii) Conducting the Capacity BuildingWebinars to handhold stakeholders/units to understand the guidelinesissued.(iii) Site-Assessment framework and ITSystems for on-ground tech-basedassessment of the stakeholders'properties for physical verification ofcompliance to the notified guidelines. The units seeking support underSAATHI will have to register with theNational Database of AccommodationUnits and they will be provided accessto various online capacity buildingservices under SAATHI. Till date, 250accommodation units are registered withNational Database for accommodationunits. The Registration No. of NationalDatabase has been sent to the respectivehotel owners/representative of theunclassified accommodation units bythe Directorate of Tourism throughemail. All the registered accommodationunits have been requested to check theiremail for Registration No. of NationalDatabase to link with SAATHI and gofor self certification, online training andsite assessment. The Ministry will officially launch theSAATHI scheme on 27th September,2020, on the occasion of WorldTourism Day. till the scheme is in force, subject to re-calibration that maybe deemed necessary on review of experience of thescheme. In case of a joint account, all holders of the said accountcan join the scheme provided they satisfy the eligibilitycriteria and pay the premium at the rate of Rs.12 per personper annum through auto-debit. Individuals who exit the scheme at any point may re-jointhe scheme in future years by paying the annual premium,subject to conditions that may be laid down. The accident cover of the member shall terminate / berestricted accordingly on any of the following events:

On attaining age 70 years (age nearer birth day).Closure of account with the Bank or insufficiency ofbalance to keep the insurance in force.In case a member is covered through more than oneaccount and premium is received by the insurancecompany inadvertently, insurance cover will berestricted to one account and the premium shall be liableto be forfeited.

Natural calamities being in the nature of accidents, anydeath/disability (as defined under PMSBY) resulting fromsuch natural calamities is also covered under PMSBY.While death due to suicide is not covered, that from murderis covered. In case of any untoward incidence, DisabilityClaim will be credited in the bank account of the insuredbank account holder. Death claims will be remitted to thebank account of the nominee/legal heir(s). In case ofincidents like road, rail and similar vehicular accidents,drowning, death involving any crime etc, the accidentshould be reported to police. Conduct weekly visits after obtaining consent, to the homes of HIV + clients facing severe crisis.

Referrals and Linkages Maintain effective coordination with the RCH and TB Programmes as well as with the Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) Programme, and visit key persons in the facilities run by these programmes once in a fortnight so as to strengthen linkages and minimize loss of clients during referrals.

Supply and Logistics Report to the ICTC manager on the adequacy of stocks of condoms and prophylactic nevrapine tablets and syrup available in the ICTC as well as in the facility.

Monitoring Maintain counseling records and registers, and prepare monthly reports which are to be sent to the SACS.

Facilitate the establishment of linkages and referrals to the ICTC from within and outside health-care settings.
