Goodbye and Good Luck, Jane…
Today we say “Goodbye and good luck” to Mrs Jane
Barrett, our Family Support Worker
Jane has worked with us for several years at Hampton
College Primary and will be missed by us all. We would like to say “Thank you” to
you Jane, for all your hard work here and
good luck as you embark on your
future endeavours.
You have been an important part of our
school community and we know many of our families will miss you greatly!
Goodbye Jane!
Farewell Mrs Kavanagh...
Today we say “Farewell” to Mrs Kavanagh, who is moving on from Hampton College
Primary to embark on her new career as a primary school teacher at Gunthorpe
Primary School. Mrs Kavanagh has been a much loved member of our teaching
assistant team at HCP for the past few years, as well as one of the founding mem-bers of our PTA. You have given so much to our school Mrs Kavanagh, and we’d like to say a BIG “Thank You”! Good luck in
your new role and please let us know how you get on!
All the best Mrs Briggs...
Today we say “Farewell and good luck” to Mrs Briggs, who is also leaving
us.
Mrs Briggs has worked with
dedication and commitment during her time here, often supporting some of our children with
special educational needs with real
passion to do the very best for every
child. You have been truly amazing,
Mrs Briggs!
We will miss you very much, but please
come back and visit us!
Good Luck Mrs Briggs!
Club Viva @ Vivacity
Please see the letter coming home today about the wrap around care provided by Vivacity. There is still much uncertainty
but we will keep parents updated over the summer period as discussions with
Peterborough City Council continue.
“It’s been a funny old year…”
When we returned to school last September, none of us knew that the
school year would be disrupted so abruptly in March as we faced a global
pandemic. Despite this, we have worked hard through challenging times and our
children should be very PROUD of themselves for the resilience they have shown. Thank you to the staff who have worked hard throughout the year, but
even more so over the past few months, supporting our children and their families through a time that none of us have ever experienced before. Thank you to our
parents and families for all that you have done; you have faced this crisis with
strength and positivity and we have been really impressed with your contributions in
our newsletter during lockdown. Most importantly thank you to our children.
You have been superstars with your optimism and ability to smile through the toughest of challenges; we are PROUD of
you all!
Healthy Lifestyles
September reopening
Look out for the year groups booklets, which will be sent home towards the end
of the summer holidays, with detailed information and guidance about returning to school in September. We are looking
forward to seeing all of our children back in school as we all adapt to our “new
normal” in the autumn term. Until then, have a happy summer holiday and stay
safe!
What have you done
today to make you
feel PROUD?
At Hampton College Primary we are PROUD of…
All of our amazing children who have worked incredibly hard
this year, always giving their best.
Our dedicated staff team, who strive to the do the best for our
children.
Our parents and carers, who have supported us throughout
the year… thank you!
With the summer holidays here at last, why not plan an active summer
challenge as a family. It could involve going for an active day out at Ferry
Meadows, wandering through Fineshade Wood, beach tennis or
crazy golf at Hunstanton or taking part in a whole family “Couch to 5K”
style event. Maybe you could explore new fruit and vegetables or go
strawberry picking at a local farm. We’d love to hear how active our
children have been when we return in September.
