Expectations of a Primary 3 Student

• Pack school bag according to timetable given and refer to Student Handbook for important items to be brought
• Write homework in Student Handbook, check Student Handbook and complete homework independently
• Revise work completed in class to reinforce learning
• Request parents to sign forms when needed without parents’ asking
• Share with parents what was learnt

English Support Programmes
School-based Dyslexia Remediation (SDR)
SDR is a two-year intervention programme for Primary 3 and 4 students. These students are identified for support through a systematic screening process for dyslexia conducted at the end of Primary 2.
Reading Remediation Programme (RRP)
The Reading Remediation Programme is aimed at supporting Primary 3 students who face consistent difficulty in reading despite having completed the Learning Support Programme in Primary 1 and Primary 2.

Mathematics Support Programme
Improving Confidence and Achievement in Numeracy (ICAN)
ICAN is a project that aims to support low-progress students using
intervention strategies and models that are guided by research to tackle the
4 key issues of learning gaps, language, motivation and memory. It is
conducted during curriculum time and the class size is smaller.
