Premier Giclée Fine Art Printing

Lambda c-type printing is the highest quality digital c-type printing available and uses the renowned Durst Lambda processor to produce prints that combine a traditionally archival process with all of the benefits of digital control. Digital file information (the image) is passed directly to photographic paper using a system of lasers.

Giclée Printing offers vivid colours unparalleled by traditional photographic printing process and true-tone for black and white images. The Epson Ultrachrome inks we use are specially designed to be used with our high-grade archival papers and produce highly pigmented and light fast Giclée prints. We stock a wide selection of archival Hahnemühle and Somerset papers, providing a range of effects through different tactility and textures.

Each year the Royal Observatory in Greenwich holds the Insight Investment Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition. It’s the largest international competition of its kind, showcasing the best space photography from around the

world.

To celebrate the tenth year of the competition, the National Maritime Museum has opened a new Photography Gallery to

display these stunning images.

The 2018 exhibition is a retrospective of the last ten years of the competition. The 31 awe-inspiring 2018 winning images are on display alongside 69 of the best photographs from

With our ChromaLuxe printing service, you can achieve intensely sharp colour or black and white prints of your images or artwork with an intense depth and durability.

The ChromaLuxe printing process produces images on aluminium with an outstanding depth and intensity of colour – comparable to traditional Cibachrome prints or photographs produced using Kodak Kodachrome or Fujifilm Velvia colour-reversal or transparency films – that really has to be seen to be believed.

ChromaLuxe prints are archival, highly resilient and require no additional glass, acrylic, lamination or coating to protect them. The dye sublimation process renders images waterproof, abrasion resistant, fire resistant and chemical resistant – making artwork suitable for almost any interior or exterior environment. Hassan Hajjaj

Born and raised in Larache, Hassan Hajjaj moved to the UK aged twelve, but has spent much of his life travelling between the two countries and cultures.

His artworks reflect his nomadic lifestyle and the relationships he has formed with a variety of characters a long the way, from musicians to artists and athletes to street performers. These individuals inspire Hajjaj’s diverse artworks from photographic portraits to video installations, sculpture, music, design and handcrafted objects.

Pictured here is La Caravaneat Somerset House, a homecoming exhibition for Hajjaj, showcasing his fusion of contemporary cultures through new celebrated works.

For a frameless finish, each completed MDF mount is supplied with split-battens or keyholes - making your work easy to hang and secure.

Face Mounting using Perspex or Glass is a contemporary mounting solution that enhances the colour of your work and provides a flawless high-gloss finish. Perspex and Glass Face Mounting are a popular choice for those looking to present a finished piece without a frame. Because the print is sandwiched between the perspex and the back using a permanently elastic 100% clear silicone glue, perspex or glass face mounting provides the additional benefit of no light reflections between the photographs and the glazing of an ordinary frame.

Professional Kapa™ Foamboard and Foamex® Mounting

Foamboard mounting is a lightweight yet rigid mounting solution, perfect for ensuring your prints are flat within the frame, or to use alone to mount prints directly on to the wall for more temporary displays.

We are able to offer Foamboard mounts in both 5mm and 10mm thicknesses and up to a maximum size of 118 x 60 inches. (2997 x 1524mm).

Foamex is extremely lightweight and Foamex mounting is ideal for short term applications, as well as touring exhibitions and those wanting to achieve excellent dimensional stability on a budget.

We are able to offer Foamex mounts in 2mm, 3mm or 5mm thicknesses and up to a maximum size of 2 997 x 1828mm (118 x 72 inches).

We offer matt and gloss sealing for the protection and preservation of your images and artwork and we recommend sealing to protect prints that are to be presented or exhibited without the protection of glass or Perspex.

Whether you choose a matte or gloss seal is down to your individual preference or requirements. Gloss offers prints a shiny, durable surface but images can still be still prone to slight scratching. We would recommend matt to cover larger surfaces with optimum protection.

Tray framing offers a glassless, contemporary framing solution that achieves a 3d, ‘floating’ effect for your images or artwork.

Your images are firstly mounted to Dibond – a lightweight aluminium composite known for its rigidity – which adds protection to the print and provides a firm base for framing. A smaller sub-frame is then attached to the reverse of the mounted print, providing space between the back of the frame and the print. The artwork is set back slightly from the edge of the frame to prevent damage and there is space left on all sides of the mounted print within the frame to achieve the ‘floating’ effect.

‘Spacer’ or ‘box’ framing uses a ‘fillet’, or ‘spacer’ which runs alongside the inner edge of the frame and provides a separation between your artwork and the glass of the frame.

Alongside the contemporary aesthetic achieved with spacer framing, the separation between your artwork and the glass of the frame also aids in preventing damage to your prints caused by condensation (which can result in water damage, mould, mildew or the deterioration of the surface of the image).

Our passe-partout mounts are available in a wide range of colours and we can produce window mounts in any size up to 60 x 40 inches with a window size of 30 x 40 inches. The cutout shape of the passe-partout is bevelled to prevent casting shadows on the picture and we can create single or multiple apertures.

Civilization: The Way We Live Now features the work of 140 of the world’s finest photographers. It addresses and illuminates major aspects of our increasingly global 21st-century civilisation. In its many facets the exhibition demonstrates how extraordinarily complex the functioning of our civilization has become.

We stock an extensive range of vinyl film in a wide range of colours and finishes and can produce bespoke colour requests through our vinyl printing service. Alongside traditional vinyls, we offer optically clear films for window applications in galleries and offices and are popular for creative glazing manifestations.

Using specially designed eco-solvent inks , we can also print vinyl to your specifications – either using your pre-existing artwork or graphics designed by our in-house team. All of our self-adhesive vinyl’s are held in place on a low-tack backing sheet for ease of application.

Delivery and Installation Services

Our bespoke wallpaper printing service serves the demands of photographers, artists, interior designers, companies and individuals looking to produce images or artwork to cover extra-large areas, corners or columns.

For ease of application and extra flexibility, we print images and artwork to Landor’s Phototex, which unlike traditional wallpapers is paste-free, fully re-positionable and peels off residue-free due to its unique low-tack adhesive.

With solvent curing, Phototex is also suitable for outdoor use.

Prints can be delivered via Royal Mail Special or Recorded Delivery. We’ll wrap and pack your prints either rolled or flat depending on the size of your work and/or your preference.

Depending on the size of your order, we can also deliver using our dedicated fleet of motorcycle couriers or delivery vans. Our team are specially trained to handle your artwork and all of our in-house delivery services carry insurance for your peace of mind.

We also ship our clients work internationally and can provide bespoke crating, which is ideal to ensure your work is protected until it reaches its destination.
