With a ventilated façade and a curtain wall correctly executed, the building structure can have the most modern and attractive line conceived by the design architect. Due to its accrued flexibility, the metallic structure of the façades is designed so as to successfully cope with all stresses it is exposed to (permanent actions – the system’s own weight, temporary actions – suction/pressure of the wind, exceptional actions – earthquake, actions during exploitation – variation of lengths determined by modification of temperatures). Obtaining the stereotomy provided by the design architect presupposes the customization of the solutions related to the joining system, which is accomplished by the technological design. The technological project includes, as a rule: the analysis of the DTAC project and the choice of the optimal joining system, strength calculations made in view of obtaining and adequate dimensioning (checked and approved by a person authorized by MLPAT [Ministry of Public Works and Territory Organization], establishing the DDE details including specific features of the relevant ventilated façade. Establishing the quantities of components required (the structure and composition of the supporting and joining system, the building cladding materials etc.) considering the characteristics of the ventilated façade. Establishing the procedures and the technologies required for preparing the cladding materials, the tools and devices needed for the fitting and for the execution of special elements. The realization of the technological project and the financial evaluation of a works are based both on the stereotomy of elevations and on the relevant section of the façades in the work project, along with information and technical agreements concerning cladding materials, the type of attachment thereof on the joining system (hidden or visible), the distance from the building wall or other bearing surface, the type of the wall or of the bearing surface (reinforced concrete, BCA, panels, metallic confections etc.), the position of the windows, of the doors, of other elements of cladding discontinuity, the details provided in relation thereto, as well as any other peculiarity resulted from the theme of the design architect, of the specialized designer, of the general contractor and the geographic placement of the work.

Considering the need to connect the image of the companies to the

new designer trends and to the evolution of the systems and of the

materials in the industry of curtain walls and ventilated façades,

Glass Rom Impex has endowed its production workshops with the

latest generation of equipments, which are dimensioned so as to

render a high productivity, having regard to the continuous demand

The equipments of the company allow for the execution of all shapes and dimensions used in cladding

of straight, semispherical, or cylindrical walls, semicircular fascia boards, columns of any diameter, roofs,

and even interior cladding with complex design.

Among the equipments in the workshops of the company Glass Rom Impex there are: Router CNC

with useful dimensions of 2070 mm x 5500 mm, HOLZ_HER with useful dimensions of 2060 mm x 5700

mm, rolling machine with a minimum radius of 200 mm and maximum length of 4000 mm. The materials

processed by these equipments are type aluminum composite ACM, aluminum plate, steel plate, HPL,

Eternit, Plexiglas, MDF, Parklex.Plexiglas, MDF, Parklex.

The equipment of Glass Rom Impex workshops are operated and serviced by highly trained and

qualified personnel. The workers’ experience in processing the materials used for the curtain wall systems

and other types of interior and exterior cladding has determined the reduction of material losses and the

increase of the work speed. The production capacity of the workshops exceeds 5000 sq.m./month.

With more than 20 years of experience, the fitters of the company Glass Rom Impex have the competence required for the implementation of the project concept. The fitting teams are able to strictly observe the project details and the way in which they are organized and specialized ensure the quality of the work. The fitters know the procedures and the working techniques established according to the type of work. There are certain procedures and techniques for each type of work (curtain wall fitting, aluminum cladding, ceramic cladding, glass cladding, ventilated façade fitting, installation of aluminum, installation of thermal insulation etc.). Moreover, for the materials with special fitting requirements prescribed by the manufacturers (Schuco, Reyners etc.), such requirements are strictly observed according to the specifications in the manufacturer’s catalog. Considering that ventilated façade fitting represents the last phase in the construction of a building, the phase that determines the shape of the entire building, the fitting teams of the company Glass Rom Impex treat this phase with a great sense of responsibility, with a view to satisfy all persons involved in the project. From the beginning of its activity in 1994, hundreds of façade projects were delivered, such projects having generated hundreds of thousands of square meters fitted, projects that observed with accuracy the requirements of the architects and of the beneficiaries.
