A Contact

Direct close contact:

• Face to face contact within 1 metre for any length of time

• eg being coughed on, face to face conversation, skin contact

• eg children, staff or customers in a ‘bubble’

Extended close contact:

• Within 2 metres for more than 15 minutes

• eg travelling in a small vehicle

These still apply when face coverings are worn

What questions do you need to ask? Check they and their household are self isolating. Check they have arranged to

What questions do you need to ask? Ask customer for details (name, contact details, date of symptoms, date & time

of visit, any close contacts, where they sat/were on the premises)

What action/s does the venue need to take?If test is confirmed – PHE will advise:
