● Straw incorporation Residue mixing on top soil at 2 - 4 inches depth promotes residue decomposition and nutrient release. While conventional discs just size residues, PRESTO chops, pulverises and incorporates them at shallow depth.

● Soil structure restoring and field conditioning In relation to conventional discs, PRESTO preserves soil structure without aggressive soil

movement and compaction. It also increases organic matter content in superficial soil layers, creating an ideal environment for soil bacteria. This tillage operation covers 60% of residue while 40% are left on the top, preventing erosion and improving water retention.

● Weed control To achieve maximum yield potential, it is necessary to get rid of weed competition. PRESTO does a great job of reducing it.

MASCHIO offers a full range of rigid and folding units. PRESTO mixes soil and residue at to a depth of 4 inches. The 22 in. discs with their inclination and concavity allow you to achieve depth and

to throw much more dirt than conventional tillers. PRESTO can replace a conventional disc, field cultivator and rolling straw chopper all at once.

Side retaining discsFront and rear gang easily adjustable retaining discs control flow of material to avoid the curb effect and side furrowing for a perfect and level finish.

Aggressive inclinationThe 18° disc angle ensures a continuous flow of soil and residue from front to rear gang avoiding bulldozing and clogging.

Extreme precisionThe perfect overlapping between front and rear gangs allows for consistent soil mixing with no side drift.The clearance frame (22 in.) and the narrow distance between gangs (25 in.) improve stubble incorporation with low fuel consumption.

Large and concave PRESTO hard tensile boron steel discs have a diameter of 22 in. with a ¼ in. thickness. The discs ensure an extremely effective mixing of soil and even the toughest crop residue. Working time is shorter even with large amounts of trash. Quick matching!

The three point hitch adaptor for tractors with quick-hitch frame is available as an

option for easy and safe hook-up.

PRESTO

AgrihubPRESTO disc hubs are fitted with special 2-row angular contact bearings. The sealed hub external screwed cap and the waterproof sealing system ensure total protection against dust, dirt and moisture. The hub is designed to enhance performance and it is maintenance free: no need to pump grease!

Individual discsEach disc is individually suspended on the frame by SILENT BLOCK shock absorbers to prevent damage when hitting obstacles. The four large dimension rubber torsion rollers are maintenance free and make the discs follow ground contours under all working conditions, even on very uneven ground surfaces. They allow you to work and fill up tracks ensuring consistent tillage depths across the entire working width.

Increased disc penetrationThree ballast kits (276 lbs each) can be quickly mounted on the frame to increase the working depth and tillage aggressiveness. The use of ballast kits is recommended when working on tough, hard or untilled ground to improve mixing and incorporation without reducing the working speed and working capacity.

Simple adjustmentsThe rear roller stabilises the machine during working and sets the working depth. The working depth pin adjustment is easily accessible from the rear gang.

The COMPAGNA seed box can be mounted on the PRESTO rear roller to sow any type of seed in a single pass. It can be used for numerous cropping applications: to sow grass, hay, canola and cover crops. The 3 cams gearbox

(mechanically driven by the Presto rear roller) runs the metering system with a constant transmission speed getting a distribution rate from 2 to 223 lbs/acre. The fluted feed cup fitted with a two sector sprocket dosing roller

can distribute both small and large seeds with extreme accuracy. The 75° seeding tubes spread seeds between the rear disc gang and roller around 8 in. off the ground (adjustable inclination and height). The 8 or 10 bushels capacity

hopper ensures great working autonomy and uniform feed.

PRESTO

Folding PRESTO can be mounted, semi-mounted or pull-type, with a hydraulic folding frame and working widths from 13 to 20 ft. The semi-mounted design takes the load off the tractor insuring safe transport

with a narrow 10 ft. transport width. The rear cart is fitted with large 400/60-15.5 wheels and the air or hydraulic braking system improves stability making transport safe and comfortable.

Frame folding/unfolding, wheel lifting/lowering are all hydraulically operated from the tractor cab. The semi-mounted version is fitted with a casting steel two point hitch (3° ISO and K700)

which makes hook-up easy and gives great manoeuvrability on field. A drawbar option is available as well.

The PRESTO mounted version goes from 8 to 13 ft. The extremely sturdy 4 x 4 in. frame and headstock fitted with high tensile steel third point allow the unit to be equipped with the heaviest finishing rollers and mount rear attachments as drills. The PRESTO mounted version requires a lower lifting capacity reducing the HP requirement (from 80 to 150 HP).

PRESTO

Packer roller (ext. Ø 20 in.)

Is used particularly for autumn tillage of wet soils, to break up further surface clods and to ensure optimum soil compaction of soil. Rotation is granted by a set of triangular teeth fixed to the cylinder; a roller scraper device with tungsten coated elements cleans the roller.

Rubber roller (ext. Ø 20 in.)

Suitable on any type of soil, guarantees a regular working depth of 5 in.

Cage roller (ext. Ø 18 in.)

It is used on loamy dry soils and in not excessively wet conditions. It guarantees an excellent preparation of the seed bed in normal condition soils. The height adjustment is made through a very simple pin system.

Presto can be equipped with a heavy duty 2 in. towing eye drawbar. The drawbar inclination can be

comfortably adjusted from the tractor seat, simply by using the the hydraulic cylinder to ensure maximum

stability in transport and to adjust the disc gang down-pressure on the run.

dRaWBaR

The rigid (semi-mounted) and folding versions are equipped with a two point

pivot towing system. A steering angle over 180° ensures excellent manoeuvrability

during transport on the road and when turning at field heads.

TWO POInT PIVOT

Ring roller (ext. Ø 24 in.)

This roller is suggested for minimum tillage. Its action brings soil surface to clod size good enough for seeding operation (clod size 50 mm). A soft surface layer of fine soil and a lower compacted one, allow plants to produce a well developed root system. Sub-compacting action is focused on till line of ring.
