Quotes

“I’m excited today to be a part of the funding of a new economic engine for Eastern Ontario.

QuinteVation aims to support a collaborative agenda of innovation, innovators, and

entrepreneurship across the Quinte Region. I applaud the efforts of QuinteVation’s board, led by

Ryan Williams, and management team as they work to positively impact the economy of all of

the communities in this area.”

-Kim Rudd, Parliamentary, Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources and Member of

Parliament for Northumberland−Peterborough South

“It is an exciting time to be announcing the launch of QuinteVation. As a new agency that strives

to encourage and foster innovation and serves to support entrepreneurs, the timing could not be

better. With a new technology cluster emerging in the Bay of Quinte, the dedicated professionals

at QuinteVation will be an invaluable resource to these new start-up companies as they create

good-paying local jobs and position themselves to compete in the global economy through

innovation and technological advances.”

-Neil Ellis, Member of Parliament for Bay of Quinte

“Today’s investment in QuinteVation helps further the innovative and entrepreneurial culture

that exists in the Bay of Quinte Region. Eastern Ontario has many geographic benefits, we

are central to three major cities in Canada, we have access to rail, water and air transportation

and our cost of doing business is low relative to surrounding areas. The work QuinteVation does

in the region will help accelerate growth in the region and continue to advance business

opportunities for growth in Eastern Ontario.”

-Mike Bossio Member of Parliament for Hastings—Lennox and Addington

“Entrepreneurs think in terms of opportunities, innovation and new value creation. We look

forward to the business expansion results as QuinteVation’s “entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs”

takes flight.”
