APPREHENDED TWO PERSONS FOR CHEATING (23) CAR OWNERS AND

RECOVERED 23 CARS AND NET CASH RS. 4,70,000/- ALL WORTH RS.

2,45,70,000/- (TWO CRORES FORTY FIVE LAKHS & SEVENTY THOUSAND)

The sleuths of Special Operations Team, LB Nagar Zone team along with

Meerpet police apprehended the conman Kandula Srikanth Chary @ Ammulla

Srikanth and his associate Sardar Mahender Singh, who were allegedly cheated 23

people by promising them to give rent on their four wheelers and mortgaging the

vehicles to car dealers. Police recovered (9) Toyota Innova, (6) Maruthi Swift DZire,

(2) Toyota Etios, (1) Toyota Innova Crysta, (1) Maruthi Ertiga, (1) Maruthi Eeco, (1)

Hyundai i20, (1) Mahindra Xylo, (1) Renault Plus, (4) Mobile Phones and Net Cash

Rs. 4,70,000/- total worth Rs. 2,45,70,000/- (Two Crores Forty Five Lakhs & Seventy

Thousand Rupees) from their possession.

The accused persons are involved in the following Cr. Nos of various police stations

of Rachakonda and Hyderabad Commissionertes.

THE DETAILS OF ACCUSED PERSONS:

1 Kandula Srikanth Chary @ Amulla Srikanth S/o. Venkata Chary, age 30 yrs,

Occ. Driver, R/o. Phase-I, Sai Nagar Colony, Near Renuka Ellamma Temple,

Badangpet, Balapur (M), RR District.

2 Sardar Mahender Singh @ Bantu S/o. late Inderjeet Singh, age 37 yrs, Occ.

Business, R/o. Flat No. 104, Sai Ganga Enclave, Ameerpet, Hyderabad.

BRIEF FACTS:

The accused Srikanth Chary born and brought up in Chikkadpally, Hyderabad,

and studied up to 7th Class, later shifted to Badangpet (V), Balapur (M), RR District

and he working as Driver by profession. In the year 2017 he was worked as

temporary driver in CMO, Telangana for about 10 months, due to irregular on duties

his services are terminated. He used to take hand loans from his friends, but never

repaid them. His friends lost faith on him and stopped lending money to him, then he

decided to take cars from known persons on lease purpose the same mortgaged them

and earned money easily by cheating the innocent car owners.

He used to collect four wheeler vehicles (Cars) from the vehicle owners

believing them that he is working in CMO office as driver and to engage their vehicles

in the CMO office by offering to pay Rs.30,000/- per month to each vehicle and

collect the vehicle from the owner and without disclosing the officers details and used

to mortgage the vehicles at his known person Sardar Mahender Singh @ Bantu, who

is Private Financer for Rs 3 to 4 Lakhs and paying the first installment to the vehicle

owner’s to gain the confidence. From the next month onwards he is evading their

vehicle installments. He mortgaged total 30 vehicles big & small of different models at

different places and collected an amount of Rs 36 lakhs approximately and he used to

prepare rental agreement for the deal, but was not registered. He would demand an

advance payment from the Financer Sardar Mahender Singh and leave the vehicle

there. The accused also collected an amount of Rs.10,25,000/- from the victim by

promising he will arrange the Government double bedroom flat and cheated the

complainant in this regard a case was registered vide Cr. No. 168/2019 U/s. 406, 420

IPC at Panjagutta Police Station of Hyderabad City.Further, he also collected an

amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- from the complainant by promising he will arrange

Government job, in this regard a case was registered vide Cr. No. 322/2019 U/s. 420,

406 IPC at Banjara Hills Police Station of Hyderabad City. After successful commission

of offence the accused used to avoid the telephonic calls from the victims and he uses

the money for his lavishly life and cheated innocent public.

The accused Sardar Mahender Singh @ Bantu is resident of Ameerpet,

Hyderabad and he used to providing finance to the Srikanth Chary @ Srikanth, he

came into contact through his common friend. In the month of January 2019 the

Srikanth Chary mortgaged one Maruthi Swift Dzire car and took an amount of Rs. 2

lakhs, later he repaid the amount and released car and gained the confidence of

Sardar Mahender Singh. Later both of them hatched plan, then Srikanth Chary

brought 30 vehicles and the same were mortgaged by Sardar Mahender Singh and

shared the amount by taking 3% commission to Srikanth and 2% to himself and used

to run said vehicles on rental basis to his known and needy persons, due to non-

payment of monthly rental by Srikanth Chary. Seven vehicle owner’s taken away their

vehicles directly from field which were identified themselves by using GPS technology

and without informing him.

On 23-04-2019 evening hours, both the accused were apprehended at Kandula

Srikanth Chary residence at Badangpet (V), Balapur (M), RR District and recovered

the property from their possession.

The above arrests were made under the direct supervision of Sri Mahesh M.

Bhagwat, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Commissionerate, by J. Surender

Reddy, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Inspector T. Ravi Kumar, Sub-Inspector

A.A. Raju, the staff of Special Operations Team, LB Nagar Zone with the assistance of

Sri. N. Yadaiah, Inspector of Police, Sri. K. Satyanarayana, Detective Inspector,

Meerpet police station and his staff.
