*If some classes are struggling with their dances/need extra rehearsal time I will set up a rehearsal before the show. Dates, times and prices for the extra rehearsals confirmed nearer the time.

*Any bad behaviour during the next few months and especially on the day of the shows will result in expulsion from the show,

and possible future performances*

Plan of the day On Saturday we are going to have a full dress rehearsal of the show. We will then have time to eat and prepare for our first performance of the day. Our first performance will begin at 12.15pm and finish at 2.00pm. Again we will have time to eat and

prepare for our final performance which will begin at 2.45pm. Friends and family can choose which performance they would like to see and buy tickets accordingly.

Please be aware that performances/rehearsal time may run over. I also, have to ensure there is 1 hour 30 minutes between each show, this can affect times.

HAIR AND MAKE UP

OK BOYS - YOU DON’T NEED TO WEAR MAKE UP BUT YOU DO NEED TO FIX YOUR HAIR IN A REALLY FUNKY STYLE GIRLS – HAIR IN A FUNKY STYLE BUT EITHER IN A PONY TAIL OR HALF UP HALF DOWN, YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE DISTRACTED BY YOUR HAIR WHILST YOU ARE DANCING. Wear what make up you

like, unless previously specified in class.

*No hair spray or spray of any other description should be bought. There is very limited changing space. No hair straighteners or anything like that either.

Costume list All classes will be given a colour, this colour needs to be warn in any form (top/skirt/leggings/shorts/baggy trousers/wrist band/bandana) with black and white, for e.g. if your child’s groups colour is green, they could wear a green top, with black

trousers and white trainers. Groups wearing hats or caps will be specified and these details will be going out before Christmas holidays.

• Please wear clothes that fit you – it may sound obvious but so many children last year had to pull up their trousers

during their dances and it doesn’t look great. • Every Dancer Will Need To Bring Their Holly’s School Of Dance T-shirts/Hoodies/Zipped Hoodies/Jogging Bottoms

For The Finale – If you do not have a Holly’s School of Dance clothing Item(s) please wear black joggers & a brightly coloured top instead.

Due to Child Protection Procedures put in place by Surrey County Council all my helpers must be licenced Chaperone’s. If you are interested in becoming one (we need lots and lots) please get in touch. DBS checked helpers

are not enough anymore.

General notes You can order your tickets now with this permission slip. Tickets that have been paid for will be given out in December. Last

year I sold out for both performances so avoid being disappointed by ordering early £6.00 per ticket. If you don’t intend to stay for the entire show… please do not come, buying a DVD would be your best option so you can scan

through.

If you would like your son/daughter to be in the show please fill in this permission slip and return with the fees (Entry Fee & Ticket Fee) as soon as possible. If permission slips are not received with the fees then your child cannot be a part of the

production.

Please Note: Children/Adults Must Attend ALL Classes Leading Up To The Show (After Christmas Holidays) – If any problems/emergencies arise then please let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate you.

Please remember that all pupils work really hard for this show and I never say no to anyone being in the show (unless of course

their behaviour has been disruptive) – all abilities and ages are welcome so please give plenty of support to all of them.

There is a bit of waiting around for the children in between their performances so they can bring entertainment with them. However I recommend books or small puzzles not expensive computer games because they could get lost. Lunch and snacks on

Saturday must be brought with them.

All clothes must be named so that if I find them I can give back to the owner.

I do try to make sure all songs are suitable for all audiences, although some words may escape my attention.

If your child has any medical conditions and/or allergies I need to know about these before the 25TH January so I can make arrangements if necessary.
