The LIS Academy (Library & Informa�on Science Academy) is a professional Charitable Trust established to work for the development of the profession and to assist libraries with the state-of-the-art technology (h�p://www.lisacademy.org). The primary focus of the Academy is to provide need-based service to the different types of libraries in the country and to work for the advancement of Library and Informa�on Science (LIS) profession at large. The LIS Academy having a tagline “Learn Inspire Serve”, aims to become the best, ac�ve and dynamic professional body by suppor�ng the professionals with the essen�al knowledge, skills, and values of librarianship using innova�ve and cu�ng-edge technology. The mission of the LIS Academy is to spread mul�-dimensional u�lity and overall growth of profession of Librarianship, through educa�on, research, publica�ons, training programs, consulta�on and collabora�on.

ABOUTNCSI Net FoundationEstablished in 2013, NCSI-Net Founda�on is a registered charitable trust. Its forerunner, The NCSI-Net Associa�on, was established in 2000. All the staff and the trainees of NCSI were members of the associa�on. A�er the establishment of the founda�on, all the members of the associa�on have automa�cally become the trustees of the founda�on.The Founda�on organises two events in memory and honour of Dr. T.B. Rajashekar viz. Dr. T.B. Rajashekar Memorial Lecture (which is usually held in the month of June to commemorate his death anniversary) and Dr. T. B. Rajashekar Memorial Seminar (which is usually held in the month of November to commemorate his birth anniversary). The founda�on is now joining hands with the LIS-Academy in conduc�ng a series of webinars for the benefit of LIS students and professionals.
