Synopsis of The Pianist Recounts the true account of one

of Europe’s most famous piano player’s struggle to survive in Warsaw

As Poland is conquered by the Nazis, Polish Jews are denied their human rights and later forced into ghettos

Wladyslaw Szpilman is stripped of everything–his identity, family, job, house, and wellbeing

All that remained was a man battling the elements and fascist Germany to survive
