Having cut her teeth as a publicist, with a client list that included Arcade Fire and Black Kids, Veitch has worked in the music business a decade as an artist manager, label rep, panel programmer, consultant and most recently with indie publisher, Third Side Music. Since joining TSM four years ago to head up licensing and consulting for games, ads and trailers in Los Angeles, she has worked on intensive projects with Rockstar Games, Electronic Arts, Apple, Disney, Nike, Chevy and Guinness. She works regularly with her roster of artists, which includes Amon Tobin, De Lux, Quantic, Young Fathers, and Dan Boeckner (Divine Fits/Operators/Handsome Furs), to bring together unlikely pairings and create new music for theatrical and advertising campaigns and games.

Cheryl studied classical percussion at McGill University in Montreal, where she was born and raised. She has toured Canada, U.S., and Europe with The Yiddish Theatre of Montreal. She spent years in New York City where she honed her skills of playing anything from Rock and Roll, Klezmer, to Celtic as well as Middle Eastern music. She now uses her style of percussion to enhance the music of such artists as Jonathan Edwards, Pat Wictor, Tracy Grammer and her group RUNA. Cheryl is also a songwriter and President of NERFA (Northeast Regional Folk Alliance).

Ari began his work with Polydor/Atlas Records, in the early ‘90s. He then joined up with Capitol Records as a marketing representative. Working with major artists such as John Spencer, George Clinton, and Radiohead, Nisman built a strong working knowledge for marketing and promotion. But it was his work with younger bands that gave him more pleasure. He supported budding acts (at the time) such as Stir, Less Than Jake, and Jimmy Eat World during his stay there.Nisman transitioned into the booking world in 2001 when he built Degy Booking International, an international booking agency aimed at launching up-and-coming music acts. The company is now one of the largest providers of music to the N. American college market; booking well over 2000 shows a year.

Small Halls Inc. is a not for profit in Charlottetown PE; which among other projects produces the award winning “Festival of Small Halls”. The Festival of Small Halls is an eleven-day, traditional music, dance and storytelling festival held in June of each year. In 2014 the Festival of Small Halls presented 45 events, which were held in 40 venues across the Island.

Justin currently represents a roster of around 40 artists in North America, as well as many in S. America, Australia, Japan and the Pacific Rim. His roster is diverse in genres with acts such as: Four Year Strong, Murder by Death, American Football, Killer Mike, Caspian, among others. Justin also has experience as a concert promoter, as he was the coordinator of MACRoCk (Mid-Atlantic College Radio Conference) while he earned his Bachelor’s degree at James Madison University, where he booked such acts as: Sufjan Stevens, of Montreal, Mates of State, Fugazi, Animal Collective, and many others. While maintaining steady studio work, he also operated as a consultant for EMI working with Artist Development on new media marketing strategies. Chico left the studio to begin tour managing, and spent the next several years on the road handling day-to-day operations for major label artists. During that time he met Degy President/CEO, Ari Nisman, and in early 2014 joined the Degy Entertainment team.

Tarmo is a musician, teacher, organizer of different events focused on traditional music. He has graduated from Viljandi Culture Academy traditional music department with main instrument diatonic accordion. 2006-2013 he worked as a program director in Estonian Traditional Music Centre finding perfomers for numerous festivals and concerts all over Estonia. Since the end of 2013 he is the director of the same organisation. ETMC teaches, promotes, and preserves Estonian traditional music. The Center established the non-formal educational centre August Pulst School and the Traditional Music Center Library and concert venue in Viljandi. It also organizes one of the biggest festivals in Estonia Viljandi Folk Music festival.

With a slight bend of his knee, Gordie MacKeeman launches into a song. Guided by the sharp cuts of his fiddle, his famous crazy legs shake and twist with a laughing regard for physics.
