She holds a doctor of arts degree in vocal performance and choral conduct- ing from Ball State University and teaches applied voice, conducting, and other music-related courses at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. Kaplowitz actively records and performs throughout Europe and the US. This concert marks her Carnegie Hall debut. Constantinides’ works have been performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. In this concert, faculty members from the Louisiana State University School of Music and the Kutztown Chamber Players will perform his original compositions. A recipient of various awards and honors, he has won attention as an outstanding violinist through numerous appearances as a soloist, recitalist, concertmaster, and chamber musician. Jorge is joined on the piano by his longtime friend and collaborator, Adrienne Kim. Her repertoire includes compositions written for bass, alto, and piccolo flutes. This concert marks Elżbieta Woleńska and Zhang Moru’s DCINY Artist Series Debut at Carnegie Hall.
