February 11, 2005: the law on equality of rights, opportunities, participation and citizenship of people with disabilities. This law has established the principle of general accessibility regardless of the type of disability. By 2015, all public places in France must be accessible.

Accessibility for people with mental disabilities is still underdeveloped.
The goal is
accessibility for all to everything People with mental disabilities should have access, like all others citizens to: information, education, training, employment accommodation, means of transport, leisure activities, sports, culture, health services, etc…

Provides a path of awareness, information and training for the staff of agencies and services of public utilities, focused on the acquisition of competences and soft skills for the reception and support of people with mental disabilities.
At the end of the path is assigned the symbol of accessibility S3A.
UNAPEI and its member associations, such as Les Papillons Blancs di Bergerac, started the project in 2007 with an experiment at E.Leclerc supermarkets.

The SuperMAN goals
1 disseminate and use results and tools of the French experience;
2 transfer in Italy and Germany the French good practice, adapting it
to the national contexts, with the involvement of retail chains such as Conad/Cofra, Tegut and others;
3 certification of skills acquired by the staff of the supermarkets
involved in the project with the European Pilot System Level 5 and awarding every supermarket with the symbol of accessibility S3A;
4 develop a broad consensus and a broad participation of
stakeholders (the entire retail chain, other public and social services, institution) to enable a multiplier effect.
