This course will focus on Business Analysis skills and tools taken form A Guide to Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK ® Guide). Participants will go through each process and knowledge area of the BABOK ® Guide to give a thorough understanding of its content. The class will close out with the taking of the State BA Certification. Students will learn the basic roles of stakeholders and how to gather real requirements, allow requirements gathering to influence the business case, and use communication techniques to strengthen stakeholder relationships throughout the entire project process. This course aligns with A Guide to Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK ® Guide), 2nd edition. Each student will receive a copy of the BABOK ® Guide, 2nd edition. Method of teaching: Students will use discussion, cases, group activities, and tests to facilitate the course.
