REVOLT OF 1857

The great Revolt of 1857 is one of the strikingevents in the whole History of Indian’s freedomstruggle. It was an expression of the resentment ofIndian people against the foreign rule inn India .Before the out break of 1857 revolt, the resentmentof Indian people had found expression in a number ofmutinies and insurrections from time to time indifferent parts of the country.
