The undiscover paradise of bulanMATARAIS HILLMt. Matarais is full of story, it is discovered years of 1990s onwards. This place is gorgeous if you look from the dismount of mountain. Mr. Jose Guban said thaty this place it is zero planting from the start it only has a talahib that can make more attractive because of the shape of this mountain. Mt. Matarais has far of 1.5 Km. estimated. They called Matarais because it has a shape like a cone. In year 2011 their more persons that participated in tree planting at Mt. Matarais together with the other local government and the other participants, NSTP of RGCC is including this events,and now if you go there in this place you can see and to feel the efforts of the people that participated to cultivate this place..

Other people that lives in Magsaysay said that Mt. Matarais owned of Mr. Calixto Gerona but he is already dead. Engr. Of Agriculture Mr. Simon Gerona Changed the name of this place its called from Mt. Matarais to Sumagka . Mt Matarais or Sumagka the government ordered that this place will be public / government property because of the certain reason.

You can see the whole view of BULAN from the top of the hill.The under construction churchMt. Matarais has a church with the help and leadership of the Brgy. Officials, Fr. Dee and Mr. Jose Guban. This church is called for the basic Christian Community, this place has already fiestas for the Virgen Mary it is celebrated during 10th and 11th of February.
