How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

The structure of this question has been done chronologically from what we started doing, what technologies were used and how they were used.

For the research part of our media course, these are all examples of technologies used. Youtube was the main piece of technology used as I was able to get videos, images and screenshots to show what I liked and what I wasn’t so interested in. Good examples to show for research in to our artist and genre. Social media was used to look in to possible artists we liked and were interested in, to see their status and what their fan base is like.

This is a collection of all the technologies that were used during the planning process. Youtube and the internet were used to gain more of an insight to the artists I was interested in, also to upload videos of any inspiring work. Final cut was used to create the animatic and Prezi was the tool we used for our pitch and Wix to create our artist website. Blogger is what was used to document all this information.

This is the collection of the technologies used for the post production process. The main tool was the camera and the memory cards as they held all the footage. Blogger, the flip cam and iPhone was used to film any feedback and footage along the way. Photoshop was used to create all the ancillary products and Vimeo is what was used to advertise and publicize our final product.

For the evaluation process I used screenshots/videos and blogger for question 1, question 2 was created with Prezi. I decided to use Timetoast and Slideshare for question 3 and question 4 includes all. Youtube again was used for research.
