February 11, 2014: Leopoldo López announces to CNN that “tomorrow’s (February 12) demonstration seeks to stay in the street (…) They won’t endure us. Tomorrow we’ll take a firm step that will allow us to keep advancing.”

February 12, 2014: The march calling for “the exit” (La Salida) of the government takes place. A group of hooded people assaulted the headquarters of the Attorney General’s Office. Two people died during these violent actions.

February 12, 2014: Patrols of the state security agencies were destroyed and set on fire. February 12: At night, violent groups moved to other areas of the city and assaulted and destroyed the headquarters of the state-run telephone company, four subway stations, and public and private property. One person died during these actions.
