Introduction

•EduG is an educational game station about learning for the educational level of kids

•It allows subsequent tests to verify acquired knowledge

•It would also be a tool for teachers to evaluate the students

Purpose: “Edu G” is a game approach and an educational tool to

help the kid users to learn and understand the elementary knowledge of English and Maths.

Provide User Friendly Interface.

Scope: Our application is intuited to the user of age group 3-6

years and the project can be implemented at Play schools, Homes and Video game shops.

This game would be an online application.

RequirementsHardware

• Processor: Pentium IV

• Memory: 128 MB

• Input: keyboard, mouse

• Output: Monitor, speaker, headphone.

Software

• OS: Windows XP & above

• Technology: JSP

• Web Server: Apache Tomcat Web Server

• Database: SQL 2000

• Photo editing tools: Flash

• Browser: Java Enabled Web Browser

Product Perspective

• Client end: where the players would play game.

• Database backend: Where all of the data such as player statistics, game states etc. are stored.

• The product is a web application developed in JSP.

• The software is using a systematic approach.

Constraints and Dependencies

• The software is designed considering English as the basic language. So the user should be familiar with English.

• Should have basic knowledge of operating keyboard and mouse.

Dependencies:

• Speakers are required.

• Java enabled browser is required.

• The number of games will be increased.
