At the beginning of the music video, there is a established shot of two houses. As we can see, it is late because the lighting is dark, almost all the rooms are in darkness except two rooms. It makes this two rooms stand out and audience can notice something happen between this two rooms. This is a start of romance and a relationship.

Page 3: Presentation1

This is a medium close up of a boy through the window. It takes view outside the window , which let audiences feel they are peeping him. According to his performance , he is walking around the room while calling someone. The lyric says: You're on the phone with your girlfriend ‒ she's upset, She's going off about something that you said ,'Cause she doesn't get your humor like I do. From the lyric we can know the boy in the frame is calling his girlfriend. His face looks tired and unhappy, which suggests something unpleasantness happened between his girlfriend and him.

The camera turns to another side, it locates in the boy’s room and shoots through both windows .This frame gives the distance between the main characters’ room, so that we can learn they are neighbor and the girl(Taylor Swift) fancies the boy who has had girlfriend. In addition, this is a extreme long shot of Taylor, it shows that she is in leisure wear with big glasses. It suggests that she is a good girl and looking forward to a romantic relationship.

The camera cut zoom in and shows the leading female character (Taylor Swift) holding a piece of paper with words ‘you ok?’ on it. She is really care about how is him judging from her worried face. It reinforces the girl still loves him though he has girlfriend, she just wants him to be happy. In addition, the lyric said: 'Cause she doesn't get your humor like I do.’

The dancing and singing part give her star image which is kinds of adcerting way of singer.

A medium close-up of Taylor Swift presents ‘star image’ .This image shows she is holding a hairbrush which is pretended to be a mic. She pretends to be a singer and all the attentions will focus on her, she is not the girl who wears T-shirt and sneakers. It suggests she has the same dream as every common girl. The colour of the whole frame is bright all the time, which is quite suitable for the beats of this song, which makes audiences feel happy and energetic.

This is close up and shallow focus of Taylor, her facial expression suggests that she is a little bit shy and surprise when the boy brushes her hair for her. On the other hand, it hits the boy has feeling to her as well.

She wears a long pure white dress just likes a princess, and her hair has been taken care. All the people in that party are looking at her, she is the attraction in the party which is as the same as her dream. She looks a little nervous and she is looking for the boy. On the other hand, she is in deep focus which let the main character stand out, it is necessary to do this so that audience can see her at the first sight.

This is a point of view of a paper which was written ‘I love you’ by Taylor on it. This shot shows that she makes a decision and speaks out her feeling to the boy. The background is all dark so that it can makes the words stand out.

This is another point of view of the paper written the same sentence as Taylor’s. Obviously, there are plenty of creases on the paper which hints the boy has loved the girl for a long time, but he has never spoken out. This makes the story have a happy ending, all the audiences realize that a romantic relationship is going to happen now.
