Jeff Divine

• Grew up on the coastline of California. • His friends and family got him into

surfing which eventually led him to photography.

Biography:

• Jeff began taking photos of his fellow surfer friends during the 1960’s.

• By 1971, A surfer magazine hired him and he started traveling all over the surfing destinations!

• He was held as the photo editor in 1981 for 17 years.

• Oftenly people told he wouldn’t make it in the photography industry because everyone wanted it but, he went for it anyways.

• Jeff has one of the largest archives of Surf Photography and has been shooting his work for 45 years!

• Most of his work is published at the Oceanside Museum of Art in California and the UK.

His Favorite place to visit is South Africa because of its Beauties, Cultures, and Epic Surf!

Before Photography, Jeff made surfboards in his garage.
