REX PUBLICATIONS: The Komiks Interlude

• The Rex Book Store and its sister firm, the Rex Printing Co., Inc. have been wholly devoted to publishing and printing textbooks and other educational materials until 1978

• Starting with Rex Komiks and Astro Komiks in 1978, Rex Publications soon put up three more titles, namely: Lahat Tapusan Komiks, Gem Komiks and Pinoy Marvel Komiks in mid-1979. Business exigencies dictated the publication of another five titles and thus were born Honey, Pag-ibig, Relax, Darling and Luv Komiks.
