Access EPM from Sangam

• From Sangam, go to My Apps and select Document Management system in the left panel.

• In the Document Management system home page, under Business Process, click on EPM

• System can also be accessed using below URL https://dms.tatapower.com/epm

Go to index Page

https://dms.tatapower.com/epm


Click on Business Process >> EPM to access the application.


• Login to the application using your domain credentials

• Click on the required level to edit the required process.

• Any changes made in the SIPOC, process measures, FMEA, process owner or scope will need a workflow to be initiated.

• With respect to fields on which workflow gets triggered, change will appear only after approval of the same.

• Edit all required fields before stating the workflow.

Level 1:

Click on EDIT to edit the L1 Process

Click on Initiate Workflow to start the workflow.


Level-2:

Click on edit next to the L2 Process you want to modify.

Make the changes and then click on update.


Add a new measure in L2 process

Add the measure details and click Add. Then click on Initiate workflow to start the workflow.


Add SIPOC in L2 process:

Add the SIPOC details and click Add. Then click on Initiate workflow to start the workflow.


Level-3:

Click on edit next to the L3 Process you want to modify.


General:

Edit the fields you need to modify.Any change in the scope, process owner, process measures, FMEA will need a workflow initiation.


SIPOC:

Add the SIPOC Details and click on Add.Any change in the scope, process owner, process measures, FMEA will need a workflow initiation.Only once the details are approved by the BE co-Ordinator and the final approver will they reflect in the system.


Measures:

Add the Measure Details and click on Add.Any change in the scope, process owner, process measures, FMEA will need a workflow initiation.Only once the details are approved by the BE co-Ordinator and the final approver will they reflect in the system.


Process Description:

Add the Process Description and click on Add.Any change in the scope, process owner, process measures, FMEA will need a workflow initiation.Only once the details are approved by the BE co-Ordinator and the final approver will they reflect in the system.


Aids/Barriers/Competency

Select Aid/Barrier/Competency from the drop down. Click on Add and enter the details. Then click on Add button.Any change in the scope, process owner, process measures, FMEA will need a workflow initiation.Only once the details are approved by the BE co-Ordinator and the final approver will they reflect in the system.


Evaluation:

Enter the evaluation details and click on Add.Any change in the scope, process owner, process measures, FMEA will need a workflow initiation.Only once the details are approved by the BE co-Ordinator and the final approver will they reflect in the system.


Reference Documents:

1. Click on import document.

2. Click on + symbol.

3. Select the document and click finish.

Enter required details and click on Finish.


Record:

Enter the record details and click on Add.


FMEA details:

Click on the double arrow to see the drop down and select the appropriate tab.Select FMEA to add FMEA details.Any change in FMEA will need a workflow initiation.

Start workflow:

ENTER THE COMMENTS IN THE TEXT BOX AND CLIKC ON INITIATE WORKFLOW.ONLY ONCE IT IS APPROVED BY THE BE CO-ORD AND THE FINAL APPROVER WILL THE SAME REFLECT IN THE SYSTEM.


Approve a process change:

Click on Approve >> Level 3 Process >> click on the process to see the changes.

Enter the comments and click on Approve to approve it or Modify to send it back.Select a name in “Raise query to” to raise a query.

Enter the comments and click on Approve to approve it or Modify to send it back.Select a name in “Raise query to” to raise a query.

Click on Process Measure>> New Data (for new data)/Edited data(for changed data)/deleted data(for data that is removed)..

Reply to a query

To reply to a query, click on Approve >> Level 3 Approver >> click on the query in the raise query Table.

Enter the reply in the space provided and click on the reply button.
