Use Appropriate Charts

Pie Charts. Used to show percentages. Limit the slices to 4-6 and contrast the most important slice either with color or by exploding the slice.

Vertical Bar Charts. Used to show changes in quantity over time. Best if you limit the bars to 4-8.

Use of Keywords and Image

Slide the left using bullet points, the most standard form of a slide in the world.

Example slide on the right is more creative and easy to digest audience. This slide just using pictures and keywords only.

Slide the left has either using a powerful image and text containing questions to open a presentation.

However, the slides can be improved by simply asking questions to an audience that is more compact. Consider the example of a slide presentation on the right. It helps reinforce the message.

Replace the text of Length With Pictures and Figures

Slide the left tells the story of Indonesian islands. The slides presented data how many islands and is the island is inhabited or not. This slide also use the standard approach bullet points.Slide to the right is much more concise. With images showing the number of islands in Indonesia and use numbers enlarged, this presentation examples perform better as a visual communication. The detailed explanation is the task of the presenter to explain.

Changing the Way Presentation More Interesting

Slide on the left appear attractive by using colorful box explaining what the benefits of speed reading skills.Slide to the right to appear more interesting by putting the title to read quickly in the middle and made a mind map to create a stylish four branches which contains a summary of the benefits of reading quickly using only a few key words plus a picture that represents the key word.
