Target: halt and start to reduce the incidence of Malaria which kills over 1 million people annually, 80% are under fives in sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2007, 33.2 million people were living with HIV

Malaria kills a child every 30 seconds. It infects

350-500 million people each year, killing 1 million.

people without sustainable access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation, and bringing

about a significant improvement in the lives of slum dwellers.

Target: halve by 2015 the proportion of people without safe

drinking water.
