Now, I understand much better some things about Ancient Egypt’s art. I think that this monograph helped me a lot. Egyptians painted things related with the life after death; they decorated tombs with pictures so they could help people with their lives after death. Inside the tombs there was the death person that has been preserved after death. This is a mummy; a body of a person or animal that has been preserved after death.Egyptians made sculptures to thank gods. Another sculptures showed, pharaohs, kings, and queens of Egypt. These sculptures decorated the temples. Egyptians painted the walls and the tombs with different colors. Each color represented something special. Blue and green, the Nile and life; yellow Sun God; and red, power and vitality.
