“I THEREFORE MOVE that the City Council request the Department of Recreation and Park and Los Angeles Police Department, in collaboration with the Office of the City Attorney and the California Coastal Commission’s staff, to commence a review of the City’s current ordinance and make recommendations for a revised, clarified ordinance that maintains significant and sufficient coastal access, but also preserves the City’s right to enforce park closures in any areas with a demonstrated safety need.”
