ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF SCs AND STs :

NTPC organizes Awareness Programme for SC/ST employees every year .Purpose : To make SC/ST employees aware of the reservation matters.

NTPC organizes Annual Conference of Liaison Officers/(SC/ST) with a view to make them aware oflatest development/ Government OMs on reservation matters and to ensure implementationsthereof.

NTPC organizes Annual workshop for office bearers of SC/ST association with a view to make themaware of latest development/Government OMs on reservation matters.

NTPC conduct Pre – Promotion Training for eligible SC/ST employees so that they may do betterbefore the Departmental Promotion Committee.

NTPC gives preference to SC/ST employees in Foreign Training.

LO(SC/ST ) is nominated at all projects/stations/offices to monitor and ensure implementation ofgovernment guidelines for SC/ST.
