About My School:

St. Francis Xavier's Girls' High School is a Bengali Medium school in Old Dhaka, Bangladesh operated by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions, a Roman Catholic religious order. It is a very good school.It was started in the year 1912.It was started by the education minister.This renowned school is situated near the famous Bahadur Shah Park. Around this school there are many other schools and colleges.

About 2500 students are studying in our school. Number of class room in my school is to 45. We like our school because the school is our second home. School is our life. It is very beautiful. We have wonderful teachers. They are qualified , talented, helpful, kind and friendly. I am really happy to become a student of St. Francis Xavier’s Girls High School. Students of this school are widely known as “The Xaverians”.

We have a five storied L shaped new school building with a lot of class rooms, where we learnt different subjects.. In front of it there is a moderate play ground for the students and a Basket Ball. Here has been shown the picture of The Xaverians.

All the class rooms of our school are spacious and light.Everything is new in our school –desks, tables, chairs.

There are many facilities like:1.Science Lab2.Computer Lab

We often take books in our library. There are collections of academic books, short stories, books of adventure, tales and historical novels and etc.
