Application of the computer demands that certain procedures be
executed with a high degree of accuracy
Shortage of trained manpower
Low retail management skill
System may become slow, and hard to manage
Requirement of good internal processes for data management
Privacy and security issues
Access to the Internet and computer necessary
Maintenance costs are quite high owing to different technology Lack of adequate facilities
Some computer applications like EDI are costly to develop and operate.
