Need of solar water Bulb

• In India majority of people are leaving in the village. Maximum strength is of either middle class or poor people. No need to go in the details of numbers!

• So many people are getting rest below a house covered with either GI sheet cover or Manglore tiles Roofs.

• Now if these people are using Electric light during day hours, solar Water Bulb is the best option if light is not coming in the room below GI sheet or Manglore tiles.

Making of solar water bulb-1

• PET BOTTLE + GALVANIZED IRON SHEET+FILLED WATER WITH HOUSEHOLD CHEMICAL

• CUT 9 X 10 INCH FLAT OR CORRUGATED ROOF SHEET

• CUT A CIRCLE SLIGHTLY SMALLER(2 MM) THAN THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF BOTTLE.

Making of solar water bulb-2

• CUT THE DIFFERENCE IN DIAMETER RADILLY.(2 MM)

• WITH STEEL BRUSH OR SANDPAPER, SCRACH THE SURFACE OF BOTTLE TO ALLOW GLUE TO STICK BETTER

• APPLY EPOXY RESIN (ARELIGHT) TO SMALLER PERPENDICULAR STRIP.

• FILL THE BOTTLE WITH WATER AND 10 ML CHLORINE.

Making of solar water bulb-3

• CUT THE ROOF OF SIMILAR SIZE OF PLASTIC CONTAINER.

• PLACE THE BOTTEL WITH SKIRT GLUED FIRMLY IN PLACE DIRECTLY ON THE ORIGINAL ROOF.

• APPLY EPOXY RESIN ON NEWLY CUT HOLE ON THE ROOF TO PREVENT LEAKING.

• PROTECT WATER BOTTLE CAP FROM CRACKING IN THE SUN WITH A PROTECTIVE PLASTIC CAP.
