“Who benefits from the Archbish-op’s Catholic Appeal?” The ben-eficiaries of a successful Appeal are many…the poor within our communities who lack food and shelter, our seminarians who are being formed into the priests of tomorrow, our youth who are learning the tenets of our faith, and the unborn who have the inherent right to life. In total, nearly forty ministries receive essential fund-ing. As Catholics, we are called to share a portion of our material blessings with others. Immigration Resources
There are two Catholic institutions in the
archdiocese helping with immigration
cases: Catholic Charities and Centro San
Juan Diego.
At this time, limited resources prevent
Catholic Charities from accepting cases
involving detention, serious criminal con-
victions or final orders of removal. How-
ever, they can provide all people with
qualified referrals in those matters. Ad-
ditionally, they are available for presenta-
tions in parishes regarding rights and
remedies under U.S. immigration law and
approaches to advocate for a more just
and humane U.S. immigration policy in
accordance with Catholic social teach-
ings. If you need any of these services
please call 303-742-4971.
Central San Juan Diego has been system-
atically offering free legal nights every
Wednesday on the first and third week of
the month. These events provide hun-
dreds of people with legal advice and
direct them to non-profit legal institutions
where they can get help that is specific to
their case. If you need any of their ser-
vices please call 303-295-9470.

Original Olive Wood Handicrafts from Bethlehem
July 8th & 9th after all Masses Nativity Sets – Creches – Rosaries – Statuettes – Christmas Ornaments –
Home, Office and Church Décor From Bethlehem in the Holy Land, The Bannoura family of Bethlehem Handi-crafts imports products from the Chris-tian community of Bethlehem. They are pleased to share their family story and trade to all those who will be present after all masses on July 8th & 9th. As Joseph taught Christ the trade of car-pentry in Nazareth, the Bannoura family passed the trade of olive wood artisan-ship from generation to generation until the present. They take great pride in this distinct and traditional craft, which is one of the principal sources of income for the small but resilient Christian com-munity. Each item for sale is handcrafted from olive wood with care and precision. Any number of items ranging from Nativity sets to Christmas ornaments will make ideal Christmas gifts for family, friends and coworkers. Other items such as stat-uettes and rosary beads will make for excellent Baptismal, First Communion and Confirmation gifts throughout the year. For more information and to view availa-ble products, please visit www.bethlehemhandicrafts.com.
